Jack and Arizona have been in a loving union since the day they found each other. They knew seemingly everything that had to been known about each other, or so Arizona thought. We find our loving couple inside their home. Jack is enjoying a nice cup of coffee that Arizona makes every day. Both of them, sitting in the front room of their suburban house reading. He is reading a horror novel, with a house on fire on the front cover. While she is reading one of those romance novels, with some male model, bare chested.

"Honey, how are you enjoying your coffee?" she asked with a sincere tone.

"It has a funky taste to it, did you add something new to it?" he asked while licking his lips to figure out the seemingly new ingredient.

"I added some different type of creamer, it's a powder. Did I not mix it well enough? Well anyway, It was this new flavor that I thought you might like. It's a new one they got at the store. It was this vanilla caramel creamer, if you don't like it then I won't add it again."

"Always got to try new things, it isn't half bad. It's uh, an acquired taste." The wife smiled at that, a feigned smiled. Jack saw right through that and took another sip of his disgusting coffee. He too feigned a smile. Even though they both knew that he had hated the new ingredient. He tried to like it, so the missus wouldn't get discouraged at finding new things to add to his coffee. To change the subject he asked a rather dismal question. A question that they both knew the answer, but hadn't spoke of it. "Did you hear about the Douglas's?"

The focus goes onto the late Douglas's now desolate home. The matter in which they left this unholy earth, to rise and soar above the heavens. It's rather a horrific tale in which, they both meet a horrible end to their once full and young lives.

The dreadful end for the Douglas's, started out as any normal day for the couple living down the street, from our devoted couple. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas were having a quaint dinner just the two of them. A real romantic scene straight from one of those romance novels that Arizona reads. But the romance that was once in the air at the Douglas's house, now seemed to move on.

Now a stench of death seemed to creep its way in. An unknown masked man makes his way up to the front door. Treading lightly to not make any noise. As the two were enjoying their lovely home cooked meal, the doorbell rang. A beautiful musical note played, to signify the residents of the house that someone was there.

"Expecting someone sweetie?" Mr. Douglas asked his wife. They both knew the answer from the look on each other's faces that tonight was supposed to be only them two.

"I wonder who it could be at this hour?" As Mrs. Douglas joined her husband in asking questions. The doorbell rang once more. A new musical note played this time.

"I'm coming!" yelled Mr. Douglas. "This better not be some childish prank like last time. I'll ring the neck of whoever is doing this."

"Oh Honey, you know how kids are, always playing pranks and just trying to have a fun time." Mr. Douglas scoffed at the idea. He stomped up to the door and swung it open. Only to find nothing there. Except for a burning brown paper bag.

"Fire, there is a fire!" He screamed "I got this."

"Oh honey don't do that." The missus said, as Mr. Douglas was stomping the flame out with his shoe. He stomped out the flaming bag. Only to find the bag was filled with feces.

"God dammit!" He screamed. "Those goddamn kids, they tricked me again. Bastards are what you people are!" He yelled so loud the lights of his neighbor the Carson's flicked on.

"Honey, I don't know why you always fall for the same old tricks."

"Neither do I, maybe I do it on purpose for some sort of joke. I'm a fool, but at least I isn't a bastard like those stupid kids." He laughed, he thought he was going to get the last laugh. In a way he did, that would be the last time he laughed. The Douglas's were young and new in town, they only lived here for little over a year.
