Looking back I recall
To when I was about to fall
I heard distinctly Your loving call
And am indeed grateful for the wake up call
I was lost and distressed
Totally frustrated and depressed
But You came to my rescue
That I may forever be with You
Pulling me out of the darkness
My heart pierced to repentance
You freely gave Your forgiveness
Redeemed by Your Blood most precious
Eternally I am grateful
For You have been Merciful
To forgive and grant abundant life
With You forevermore without strife
