Enjoy the Day

I had a wonderful day
Whole of yesterday
Yet it was a Monday
The usually dreaded day
Many dread this day
For they can no longer play
To work they must go
To reap and sow
Most people are blue
And don't know what to do
How to enjoy
And be filled with joy
Well in fact Monday
Is not the first day
But instead it is Sunday
The resurrection day
The Lord rose from the dead
So we may no longer be in dread
Of facing an eternal death
Forever from Him separated
So rejoice
In His choice
And enjoy
In His Joy
Living life
In freedom
Working to bring
Souls to the Kingdom
