(Y/n's POV) I woke up with the annoying sound of my phone ringing. I groaned and then sat up. I looked over at Lauren's bed and noticed that she was gone. I groaned again and answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Yo bisshh." I groaned and stood up from the mattress that I slept in and stretched my back. Ughhh, I feel so sore.
"What do you want Dinah?"
"Damn gurl, who pissed in your cereal today?"
"Dinah you know I dont eat cereal, and I just woke up you dimwitt, so I will repeat myself... What do you want??" I went in the bathroom and started to brush my teeth.
"Im just here to remind you that we and the rest of the squad are gonna meet by the karaoke bar where we usually hang out, for lunch." I spit the foam and washed my mouth before replying.
"How could I forget, you and the girls text me,literally every single day since you guys found out that I was coming back here." I walked out the bathroom and went to our suitcases. I made a mental note to myself that me and Lauren we'll unpack everything when we come back from lunch.
" well it's not every day that our best friend decides to come back home. You can't really blame us girl, we miss our best friend."
" I know DJ, I missed you guys too. Despite your craziness."
" oh hell no hoe you're also crazy and you know that we are not the only Crazy Ones here, so don't go around telling me and or telling other people that cuz you're all crazy got it?"
" yes maam." I chuckled. Oh how I miss this girl. " listen DJ have to go I need to get ready."
" sure thing dawg, and make sure to bring your boo thang later. We want to meet the girl who finally got the heart of the Ice Queen, maybe let her sing some karaoke later."
" DJ don't you dare make Lauren do things that she doesn't want to do or else you're dead to me." I heard her truck go through the phone.
" chill bro I won't, now go get ready I'm sure your princess is waiting for you." I chuckled and continued looking through my suitcase for something to wear.
"Okay then, bye Dinaahh, luv yahh."
"Bye idiot, love you too. See you later."
I hung up the phone and changed into a white crop top, grey dresspants and white heels. I tossed my hair around for a little while before going down. Once I reached the entrance of the kitchen I could smell the breakfast being cooked. I've been so my mom and Lauren standing there helping each other make breakfast. I want behind my mom and hug her from the back and kissed her cheek.
"Morning Mom." She turned around and hugged me properly.
'Good morning Mija. You look good today, where you going?"
"Me and Lauren are gonna meet up with Dinah and the squad at the karaoke place we usually hang out at."
"We are?" I looked at Lauren and gave her a pointed look.
"Yes.. We are...You forgot babe?" Her eyes widened and nodded frantically.
"Oh yeah, We are." I chuckled and kissed her cheek. I helped the both of them cook breakfast so we could finish faster.
