"See, Ryuusuke? Kaori doesn't need preschool, she's smart enough already!" Kimiko stated.

Ryuusuke was left stunned and speech less. DING! DING! Kimiko: 1 Ryuusuke: 0

I hopped off the bed and followed Kimiko to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. After I did so, I noticed Kimiko hadn't spoken the entire time.

"Mama, is something wrong?" I questioned with worry.

"Kaori, just who are you? How are you so smart?"

The question caught me by surprise and I wasn't sure how to answer. "Would you believe me if I said I'm a prodigy?"

"Nope." She let out a giggle, I was confused. "But I trust you, you're my daughter."

Anime people are so trusting, still I'm glad for it. "Thank you, mama."

"But you have to promise me that you'll tell me one day."

"I promise." I said with my fingers crossed behind me. Sorry Kimiko but this is something I cannot tell you or anyone for that matter.

"Now time to get you into bed. It's nine already."

Gosh. I completely forgot about children's sleeping hours.

Kimiko tucked me into bed and gave Ryohei, Kyoko and I each a goodnight kiss before turning the lights off then doing whatever adults do after nine. Wink. Wink.

Then Kimiko decided to go one step further and say that I should go to elementary school a year ahead of time because I was smart enough. Hell yeah!

The next morning, I woke up earlier than I would have in my past life. At the time, Ryohei and Kyoko were still sleeping soundly but at least one of the adults were awake from the fantastic scent of pancakes that filled the air.

I quickly put on my clothes from yesterday because I have no clothes and my PJ's were Kimiko's spares. They were hella baggy on me, a five year old but Kyoko's were never gonna fit on me and Ryohei only had one pair. Also, I hadn't realized it yesterday but I was wearing a purple dress for the whole of yesterday. Who the hell put me in a purple dress?! I absolutely detested dresses and of course, I told Justin that. So voila, Justin made me wear a purple dress just to piss me off.

I swear when I get my hands on him I'll tear him to pieces!

But anyways, off topic. I changed back into my purple dress (which I hated) then brushed my teeth and washed my face. After that, I met Kimiko and Ryuusuke in the living room. They'd already planned the whole day for us. Kimiko was going to take me shopping after she drops Kyoko and Ryohei off at our uncle, Ryuga's place. As we do that, Ryuusuke would drop off my adoption papers at the district office and then pick up my siblings and meet us at the mall for dinner.

"How are the pancakes, Kaori?" Ryuusuke asked. Apparently, he was the one who cooked the pancakes because he could actually cook unlike Kimiko who had once almost burnt down the house. "You know, you sure eat a lot."

Oh hell no! He did not just question my appetite!

"Honey! That is no way to talk about a lady's appetite!" Kimiko scolded in my place. "Besides, I doubt she's had much to eat in the past. isn't that right, Kaori?"

"Mhm. But the pancakes are really good!" I said as I finished.

"Ohayou, Okaa-san, Otou-san!" Ryohei and Kyoko greeted as they entered the dining room. Oh did I mention, this house had an actual dining room, my old apartment only had a kitchen and I had to eat in bedroom.

"Kimiko-neesan! You woke up so early!" Kyoko said to me. I'll take that as a 'good morning'.

"Yes! Kimiko-neesan is early to the EXTREME!" Ryohei yelled and I winced from his volume. "From now on I will also be as EXTREMELY early as Kimiko-neesan." I would rather you not, I prefer to enjoy at least an hour awake without your voice bursting my eardrums thank you.

"Now, now, Ryohei. Quickly eat breakfast, we've a whole day ahead of us to be 'extreme'." Kimiko enlightened. Thank you for saving my ears!

"Hai okaa-san. I will be quick to the EXTREME!" Or not.

"Onii-san! You're too loud." Kyoko my dear sister, I love you! Not that way!

They ate breakfast while having their idle chatter and then they got dressed into something suitable to go to Ryuag's place. Did I mention that Ryuga owned a kickboxing place? Well, he does and Kyoko and Ryohei go there every weekend to practice.

"Hey, mama. Can I learn Aikido?" My question slipped out without me meaning to. I always wanted to do Aikido and Krav-Maga in my past life but I never had the time so why not now?

Kimiko blinked. "Why would you want to learn Aikido? Don't you want to learn boxing?"

Shaking my head, I replied, "No, boxing requires a lot of strength which I probably won't have because I'm too lazy to train. On the other hand, Aikido utilizes an opponent's strength against them. Suited for girls like me or people who just can't be stuffed training properly."

"What to the extreme is Aikido?" Ryohei asked.

"Yeah, nee-san."

"It's a type of martial arts." I said shortly.

"But what will we do if you get hurt? You get thrown a lot during Aikido! It's too dangerous." Ryuusuke commented.

"More dangerous than boxing?" Kimiko retorted. "If Kaori wants to do Aikido than she can do Aikido. It's her choice."

"Thank you, mama."

"Nee-san is smart to the extreme!" Ryohei proclaimed.

I grinned and joked, "No, Ryohei. I'm just plain extreme."

That was the end of that conversation and now I'm walking in the mall with Kimiko. "Look, Kaori! That dress looks just like yours!" She pointed at a dress displayed at the window of a shop named 'JJ's Articles'. J for Justin and Justice, I noticed. I inwardly growled.

"Let's go in!" Before I had any time to react, I was already inside by a very excited Kimiko.

I was blinded by a world a sequins and bright colours. Ew!!! Now, I'm not overreacting. I just hate anything sparkly and bright! I don't know why but I always have.

"Look at this skirt, it suits you so much!" Then, my eyes landed on the pastel blue knife-pleated skirt in Kimiko's hand. Okay, I hate to admit, this skirt wasn't that bad. I liked the design, now did it come in black? Nope, oh well. "And look at this top, it would go perfectly well together!" On the other had, this bright pink halter top disgusted me!

"Okay for the skirt, absolutely no for the top!"I scanned the rack for a better one and I pulled out a white peasant shirt. "This one is better." I put it into her hand and then she proceeded to pick out more outfits for me while asking for my opinion.
