In the end, she held three skirts, two pars of jeans and five tops. She told me to go change and I did as I was told. The change rooms were smaller than the ones at adult boutiques but they were suitable for kids... like the current me.

First off was the blue skirt and white top combo that was first picked. I put it on begrudgingly and stepped out of the change room.

"Aw! Darling, you look absolutely adorable!" Kimiko complimented.

I looked at myself in the mirror and was stunned by what I saw. Okay, so I knew I was paler now compared to my past life but Jesus Christ! I looked like a porcelain doll! (Or some Kpop chic) And my eyes! They were gold! Like, bright gold! They weren't as dull nor dark as Kyoko's but were more vibrant and looked like they glowed. My hair was abnormal too, it was black with one single silver strip. What the hell?! Who has a single silver highlight?! But apparently, the lively angel, Justin thought it was a good idea.

Still though, I've gotta say, I look drop dead gorgeous! I mean, I looked unique now and I've got that supreme anime body I always wanted in the real world. As in slender arms and legs, flat stomach, no double chin, sharp jawline and perfect face shape. Oh and I bet I've got inhuman metabolism too now, like Natsu Dragneel. He's an absolute work of art. Thank you Hiro Mashima!

In the outfit I was in, and if I were older, I'd be picking up guys on my left and right. Effortlessly. But that ain't my style, I hate skirts and anything showy so if I were to actually wear this out, I'm definitely gonna need some tights. Also, they'll be needed in case of pervs and pedos.

"-ri. Kaori?"

A voice snapped me outta my thoughts and self admiration. I replied oh so intelligently with, "Yeah?"

"Do you like it? I hope you do because I love it!" I nodded. "So hurry up and try on the next one, we don't have a day!" We do though...

Holding on my snarky reply, I complied to her request. Next on the outfit board! A lilac coloured short sleeved button up and wait for it... shorts! Kimiko in all her kindness decided to give me shorts! Yaaas, my favourite! Besides the colour... I walked out and heard a familiar squeal again.

"You look better in shorts! Show those legs off, Kaori!" I'd rather. Not but thanks.

I flipped my hair like a diva and changed again. This time into a white sleeveless hoodie and a pair of indigo pleated tennis skorts. I got the same reaction from Kimiko saying how good I looked and walked back into the change room again.

Seeing the last two outfits, I frowned. They were all pink! There was absolutely no way in he'll I would wear them. So, I out on my purple dress and walked out, not even bothering to try them on. No. Just no.

"Kaori, why won't you try on the pink ones? Why do you hate pink so much?"

"But mama! I don't like pink, it's too girlish! I like blue, black and white..." I whined. Great now I just sound like a spoiled brat. But I want lying, I do love those colours.

Kimiko huffed. "Fine. But I promise, one day I'll make you wear pink and you won't be able to say no." This woman scares me. "But what about the other ones. Do you like them?" I nodded. "Then we're getting them!"

"W-wait! You-" can't just pay for everything! I'm already freeloading enough as it is.

"Hush. I'm your mother, I'm allowed to spoil you as much as I want at least for now." And with that, we were at the counter.

I peered up and took one look at the cashier. Then, I scowled.

"Oh look Kaori! There's an ice cream shop opposite here, we should get some." Kimiko pointed out.

I stuttered, "Y-yeah. My legs are tired, can you grab me a caramel one and I'll wait here?"

"Sure. Make sure you don't go anywhere, I don't want you to get lost."

"I won't, mama." Then she left.

I turned my piercing gaze back to the cashier. "What are you doing, Justin?" I spat.

"Running a clothing store. What else?" He replied sarcastically.

I rolled me eyes at his ignorance act. "I meant, why did you send me here?"

"Because you've always dreamed of it. I thought you'd be happy. Why, are you not?"

"I am but... in a world where mafia is practically next door? Do you want me to not live past thirty again?" I rubbed my temples. "And what about the canon? Cause I'm pretty sure Kyoko and Ryohei never had an older sister!" I hissed.

"That's all up to you. To follow the canon or not. Just enjoy your time, don't be such a tight-ass and muck around. You never did get to with trying to become a doctor last time."

"...." There was silence.

"Fine. But if I get killed then I'll blame you."

"Of course, sweetheart. I'd never let anything happen to you, sweetcake." And Justin was back to being his flirty jackass self.

"Piss off, mate. Your sweetcake or sweetheart ain't anywhere near here."

We laughed just like we used to then he said, "On a serious note, if you need help, I'll be there. Anywhere, anytime."

"Thank you." Out of nowhere, he placed a pendant around my neck. "What's this for?"

"To contact me."

"But you know just as much as I do that I never ever keep track of jewelry."

"That's why I enchanted it so it'll never come off." He explained. "After all, I wouldn't want to lose contact with you."

"Justin, I swear to God, if you get chummy with me ever again, I'll rip you to pieces!"

Thus, Kimiko later found a slightly terrified and definitely scarred store clerk and a very amused me.
