Spencer looped his arm around Athena's waist, pulling her close to him as his mother continued to snap picture after picture.
"Put the girls together!" Shay squealed. Spencer rolled his eyes and released Athena, Rachel slinging her arm around Athena's neck.
"This is totally going to be my FaceBook profile picture!" She squealed. Athena laughed loudly, before looping her arm around Rachel's waist.
"Beautiful girls!" Shay squeaked, Spencer's father rolling his eyes at his wife. "Now we need one of the boys together, then one of each couple and then we'lll be done!"
"Mom, we're going to be late for our reservation!" Spencer reminded her.
"You'll be fine. You'll be at one of your fathers hotels, because that's where they always book the dance." Spencer's mom paused, looking at the group. "If you do drink- please stay in the hotel. We don't want you driving drunk."
"I know mom." Spencer whined. Athena smacked him in the stomach lightly.
"Don't talk to your mother like that," She hissed. Shay laughed.
"Oh girly, we are going to get along just great!" Shay sang. Athena giggled and Spencer shook his head, looping his arm around her waist once more and pulling her closer to him.
"You're going to be the death of me," He whispered in her ear, his lips brushing against the side of her face, sending a chill down her spine.
Athena smirked, looking up at Spencer. "Challenge accepted."

After what felt like an eternity later, the group of four left the house and were making their way to Spencer's parent's black hummer.
"Let me drive," Athena asked, testing Spencer.
"Sure," Spencer tossed the car keys to her and her face lit up.
"What?" Roman squeaked. "I have been asking to drive this baby for months now! The second she asks to drive it, you toss the keys right over to you."
Spencer rolled his eyes as he opened the driver side door and helped Athena into the car. "That's because I'm almost one hundred percent positive that she won't run over any mail boxes."
"One time," Roman muttered, opening the door for Rachel. "That was one freaking time." Rachel shook her head with amusment and she climbed into the car. Spencer shut the door in unison with Roman.
"He's pissed," Rachel giggled, slapping her bare knee while laughing. Athena looked in the rearview mirror, meeting Rachel's eyes with a happy gleam in her eye.
"I love this damn car," She stated, waiting for the boys to get in. "What the hell is taking them so long?" Gunning the engine, she watched the two boys jump a foot in the air. Rolling down the window, the cold November air floated through. "Get it or I'm leaving ya'll behind." The boys glanced at each other and Roman whispered something before walking around the car and getting in on the otherside.
"Are you sure you can drive this thing?" Roman asked bitterly as he buckled his seat belt.
"I might drive a rickety old truck, but I know how to drive a beauty like this." The boys glanced at each other as Athena backed out of the long drive way, whipping it into the street.
"God, you are so hot," Spencer muttered. Athena smiled, looking over at Spencer.
"Ew, save it," Rachel called form the back seat. Roman chuckled as the two cuddled up to each other.
"Where to?" Athena asked. Spencer smiled.
"I'll give you directions, you drive."
~!~
After dinner, the four strolled to the car, Roman and Rachel in front of Athena and Spencer.
Athena leaned into his shoulder as they walked, his arm tight around her waist.
"Let him drive," Athena said. looking up at him. Spencer looked down at her a sighed. "That's what you were fighting about. Please, just make him happy and let him drive the damn hummer."
"You're right. He wants to drive the car, he's upset that I let you drive it first, before him. So if that will make you happy, I will let him drive the car." Digging the keys out of the pocket, he jangled them in Athena's face, allowing Athena to snatch them out of his hands.
"Yo Roman!" Spencer yelled. Roman turned slightly and Athena tossed the keys.
"Why don't you take the car for a spin?" Athena paused. "But let's not spin into any mailboxes along the way."
"One time," He responded, a teasing smile playing at his lips. "It was one time."
"Thank you," Athena said as Roman jogged to the car, pulling Rachel with him.
"Anything for you."
Arriving at the dance after a fearful car ride later, the group walked in fashionably late. The dance was in full swing, the dance floor packed and snack table line going as far as the eye could see.
"Dance with me?" Spencer asked Athena. Athena looked at the dance floor and back at Spencer.
"Promise not to laugh?"
Spencer smiled, amusment dancing in his eyes. "Of course not."
Allowing Spencer to drag her onto the floor, she swayed her hips side to side, her arms held high above her head. Spencer placed a hand on her hip, pulling her close to him.
"Thought you couldn't dance?" He teased. Athena smiled and looked up at him. Standing on her tip toes she smirked.
"I know a thing or two." A mysterious smile played at Athena's lips as she turned away from Spencer and into Rachel, who squealed, wrapping her arms around Athena's neck, the two swaying their hips in unison. Roman took his spot next to Spencer and sighed happily.
"Girls, you gotta love em'." Spencer nodded in agreement, watching Athena and Rachel.
"Don't try anything on Rachel tonight," Spencer said suddenly, casting a glance at Roman. Roman shook his head.
"I wasn't even thinking about it. I want her to be happy. I think she's changed me, man. And I think I might like it," Roman admitted.
"Good. Because we are dating bestfriends and that can get really messy really quick. We have to consult each other before doing anything because they will talk to each other, and tell each other everything. And Lord knows that the second you and Rachel bang, all your dirty little secrets," Spencer paused, pointing at Roman's crotch. "That'll be the first thing she tells Athena." Roman winced.
"You're right," He huffed. Athena turned around and grabbed Spencer's hand, the song changing to another upbeat, fast tempo, song.
"Think about it," Spencer mouthed before wrapping his arm around Athena's waist as she stumbled into him, giggling. Rachel looked at Roman, her smile bright.
"This is perfect."
