This isn't in anyway based on real life things. SFW!! But maybe not for feels...

Mace with a lil' bit Hartbig thrown in, for good measure of course. Enjoy ye dicks.

"It's you." She said in a slightly hushed, husky voice. "It's always been you."

"What?"

"Gracie, I know I make every penis joke under the sun, and I always say about us just being friends but I wanted to see how much you really meant to me and oh girl, you mean a shit tonne to me! I wanted to see if the attraction I had towards you was genuine and not just a first impression kind of thing. When I first met you, you were wearing those denim homemade cutoff shorts with that red and black plaid shirt and you just looked so fresh and lovely and cute and, just. Wow. I didn't mean to put you in that position that night. It just came out, and I could see the look on your face just drop as soon as I said it and I felt guilty as fuck. That's why I hassled you so much when we didn't talk for that whole month after. I wanted to apologise. I wanted to make it right. We've been friends for a long time now Gracie. And I am so thankful for that. I didn't tell you I liked you when we first met because I had this thing in the back of my mind that if anything went weird, whatever friendship we could have had, would have been broken. But look where we are now! Standing sobbing at my front door... lookin' like a couple of jackholes!"

Grace stood completely still. Circling the back of Mamrie's hand with her thumb. She glared down and gripped the red head's hands tight, then took her eyes up to meet Mamrie's. The girls looked at each other with doting eyes. Grace blinked and one last tear fell from her eye and rolled down her cheek. She took a deep breath and bit her bottom lip

"I like it when you called me Gracie." She smiled.

Mamrie giggled. "I know you do."

"So, what happens now?" Grace asked.

"Well, why don't I take you on a first date?"

"You wanna give this thing a go?"

"Yeh Grace, why not?"

"Alright!" Grace giggled. "Lets uh, lets give us a shot!"

"Great! I'll get us a shot!" Mamrie winked at Grace.

'Ouch' Grace thought in her head, which was pounding. She slowly sat up from the couch. 'Wait what the, this isn't my co-... ooohhh yeah.' She had just remembered last night. She was still at Mamrie's place and must have crashed out on the couch. She stood up and balanced herself for a second, feeling the alcohol slosh around in her stomach, her feet sticking to the hard wood floors. 'My god, what did we get up to last night?' Grace's first thought after a night drinking was to always check her phone. She walked outside, sat on the porch and scrolled through her photos. There was no huge damage. All she could find was selfie after selfie of her and Mamrie. The pictures depicting how drunk they were. Except one. Of Mamrie kissing her on the cheek with her hand, caressing Grace's other cheek. She stared at the photo for a while and smiled. What an amazing girl Mamrie is. Hearing the door open behind her, Grace turned round in her chair to see Mamrie.

"Morning Gracie!" croaked Mamrie. "I don't know about you, but I smell like I had a lot of fun last night!" she laughed.

Grinning up at the red head, "It was a great night wasn't it?"

Mamrie walked out onto the porch and sat down next to Grace.

"So, we kissed a lot last night." Mamrie flashed a cheeky grin at Grace.

"Mhmm, now that I remember." Answered Grace, finding it hard to wipe that angelic smile off her face. Just thinking about the first kiss, made her stomach fill with butterflies. Like a sick, excited feeling you get when you meet someone for the first time. Their first kiss was like that. Like they had met for the first time, but on a whole new level. It was a good level to be on.
