As soon as the girl uttered the name Donghae, Hyo Jin immediately pulled her camera out of her bag and snapped away.
"Run." was the only thing the two idols had in mind. Donghae grabbed her hand and started to flee.
"What the heck, I wanted more pictures!" Hyo Jin whined, stomping her feet.
"I hope you got a good shot of their faces." Eunhee said.
The girls huddled to get a good look at the pictures. "Aigoo, side profiles again?And some are blurry.No one will believe.Dang it.Just when it was real already."
Hyo Jin shook her head, smirking. "Guys, this is enough.Even though you can't recognize that it's Donghae, I still got Dara's full profile."
"So?" Hyun Ae retorted. "It's not like you'll get a good story just from seeing her in Hongdae."
Hyo Jin looked at her with a "Are you serious?" look and explained further.
"Babo. I have pictures of Dara with a guy. We can tell them that it's Donghae and that we just didn't get good pictures. If they don't believe it, just having gossip about Dara and guy out in Hongdae during the night is great."
"Oh,cool!"
"Yah." The vendor suddenly called to them. "What is it ajussi?"
The girls went nearer to the stall,thinking that the old man might give some more information about how Donghae and Dara ended up in Hongdae.
"You girls," The old guy started."I can't quite grasp the situation but based on my understanding, the two who just fled are celebrities,aren't they?"
The girls nodded their heads excitedly. "And they're a couple, aren't they?" Expectant looks and a single "I guess so" was all he got as a reply.
"And you are going to expose them." The ajussi said,in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Yes,ajussi.Did you notice anything about them a while ago?Something interesting?" Hyo Jin asked,her patience running out.
The old man shook his head as if disappointed, and said "I don't.And even if I did,I wouldn't tell you.Aigoo,kids these days.Do you really want to ruin a relationship between two people?They're celebrities,which makes it even harder for them.When I was your age..."
The man continued to narrate his story and the girls listened except Hyo Jin.
Needless to say,she was struck by what the man said.
They said goodbye to the vendor and started to walk around Hongdae. Hyo Jin's friends noticed her being in a trance.
"YAH." They nudged her. "Do you think it's right to post these on my website?I mean,the old man said——"
Eunhee cut her off and said," Forget what the old man said.You'll be more popular in the internet if you do."
The others voiced out the same opinion so the confused girl went silent.
Meanwhile, Dara and Donghae went running back to the Luxury Noraebang but Dara decided to buy ddukbokki.
"Really noona.Food again?After that action packed situation?" Donghae let out a tired laugh.
"I get hungry when I overexert myself.Besides, I'm trying to forget that "action packed situation" because it'll cause me big trouble. I don't wanna stress when I not even fully sober yet." Dara sighed.
"Sorry.If I hadn't brought you along..this is all the guys' fault, expecially Hyukjae." Donghae mumbled.
"Don't blame anyone,not even you.It's okay,Ill handle it if it gets worse."
"But I still feel guilty."
"Donghae,no."
"But noona, I ——"
"Shut your mouth Lee Donghae." Dara butted in making Donghae worried that he might've angered her.
But right after her words, she burst out laughing. Donghae let out a relieved chuckle.
When Dara was ready to go back,Donghae held her hand and led the way to the noraebang.
A little bit surprised,Dara smiled and just went with the flow. After seconds of walking,Donghae froze.
"Wait a minute.Am I holding her hand now?While walking?!" He thought,just realizing now what he had just done a while ago.
He contemplated for a few seconds if he should let go now that he realized his mistake.
Dara,noticing that Donghae stopped walking,immediately understood why and squeezed his hand gently,looked at him and asked,"What's wrong?"
"Huh?Ah..aniyo.Nothing.Nothing at all."
"I guess I don't have to let go of her hand now." He thought,smiling ruefully to himself.
"How many bottles did you buy?" Dara asked him. "Dara noona, even if I tell you, you can't have some." Donghae replied.
Dara pulled her hoodie down to hide her face more and pouted behind Donghae.
"Oh come on." Dara incessantly whined. Donghae laughed softly and replied "You might attract attention by being noisy noona."
She rolled her yes and complained,"But my feet is tired.Aigoo." Donghae encouraged her by telling her that they were almost there.
"By the way,do you have a girlfriend?" Dara randomly asked after a minute of comfortable silence, taking Donghae aback.
"None, I'm girlfriend-less." Donghae's answer surprised Dara. "Really?How is that possible..."
"Noona, don't you think that's a bit insulting?" He smirked, raising one eyebrow.
"Andwe, I don't mean it that way,it's just that you're Lee Donghae."
"So what if I'm Lee Donghae?" He asked, wanting Dara to elaborate further.
Dara did elaborate, oblivious because she wasn't sober.
"You're adorable and handsome,duh.You can even be my ideal type." She covered her mouth quickly,realizing what she just blabbed.
"Can?So does that mean I'm not yet..." Donghae teased, even though he was blushing slightly.
Dara didn't reply and ran towards the noraebang when they were almost there.
Dara entered their room again, handing the street food she just bought to Amber. Hyoyeon came over to Amber and checked the food. "Soju?Where's oppa?"
Right on time, Donghae also comes in and gives the soju. "Safe?" Siwon asked Dara and Donghae. Reality crashed again and the two slumped to their seats, frowning.
"No. A group of girls caught us and took pictures while we ran away." Donghae explained, making Dara facepalm.
"No way."
"Really?"
"Well, it's not like they got good shots of your faces, right?right?"
Different reactions were heard from the others but CL's reaction was the strongest.
"NO WAY unnie. This is...we're in big trouble." CL blurted out , looking very worried.
The other 2ne1 members looked at Dara, concerned.
"It's not going to be a problem right?I mean,even if they recognize the two in pictures? It's not like people will get mad. Dara ssi can date again and Donghae,well...the possessive ELFs are going to be a problem." Eunhyuk said.
"Actually..about that dating ban thing..." CL started.
At the same time, Hyo Jin is now back to her house. Going straight to her bedroom and opened her laptop.
Holding her camera and the camera's connector to the laptop, she started to have second thoughts about what she'll do.
"Do I post this or not?" She pondered, remembering what the old vendor said about ruining relationships.
