Ma'Riyah
Today is Darrions moms funeral. I sat beside him holding his hand as he played with our fingers. I kissed his cheek and he smiled back at me. He reached over and out his arm around grams who was crying her eyes out.
Once the funeral was over d introduced me to some people and we left. He said it was to emotional to stay any longer. We walked out to his all black charger and got in. I pulled off mii heels and threw them in the back and put on some black sandels to match mii all black dress that stopped mid thigh.
"Bae, " I said watching him text. When he didn't answer I took his phone out his hand.
"Tf Ma'Riyah, " he said in a angrish tone. I looked at him some typa way.
"Um don't cuss at me because I know yhu heard me the first time I was trying to get your attention but yhu were to busy texting..," I stopped turning his phone to see who he was texting, " Molly. "
"Okay and don't snatch mii fucking phone out mii hands while I'm driving yo. I could've hit another car or some shit, " he yelled. I jeot mii calm and rolled mii eyes.
"Whatever Darrion. Yhu should've never been texting and driving. Take me home yo, " I said getting aggravated.
"Gladly, " he replied looking at me.
I sat on mii bed trying to sort out mii college applications as I also did mii homework. I havent texted or called d since earlier. I don't know what his problem is but ain like that shit he pulled earlier.
It's like 11 at night and I wasn't even tired. Mii phone rang from across the room.
"Hello. "
"Um baby yhu need to come get d like right now. He's almost drunk asf and Molly's been on his arm like she his girl or some all night, " Jazzy said. I could hear the background music blaring threw her phone.
"Hold up where are yhu? "
"Chris's. "
"I'm on mii way. "
I grabbed a hoodie and some uggs and mii keys. I ran down the stairs to mii jeep.
When I got to Chris's the street was full of cars. I walked passed alot of drunk teenagers as I walked inside. I found jazzy and walked up to her.
"Where is he, " I asked hugging her.
She pointed to the kitchen and I watched as him and molly kissed. It brought tears to mii eyes but I chose not to let it get to me.
"Ima beat her fucking ass, " jazzy said as we walked up to them.
"Move bitch. What part of he gas a mutherfucking girlfriend did yhu not understand gah u'r just a fucking who're bru why yhu even around haven't yhu slept with everybdii yet, " jazzy yelled getting all in her face. I stood there watching the two argue back and forth then I looked to d.
"I'm sorr-"
"Don't do that bullshit nigga. I'm done. Let's go Jazzy they ain't worth the fight, " I said grabbing her bii her arm and pulling her with me.
"Let me drag this bitch ri, " she protested.
"J yhu have better things to be worries about. Ain stressin over thirsty bitches so yhu dont need to let's go, " I replied.
She finally gave up. She went to say her goodbyes to Chris as I walked to mii car.
"Ri lemme explain please, " d said grabbing mii arm.
"Look d ain got nun ta say so go back in there and finish watchu started nn leave me be, " I said looking at the house.
"Ma'Riyah don't do this shit mane. You know I love yhu and yhu knowion wanna be with that girl she just randomly kissed me. I'm drunk I won't even remember this shit tommorow. Ri chill please, " he looked me in mii eyes and I could see his eyes were red. For sone slow reason I wanted to laugh but I didn't I just stood there. "After everything we've been threw. After everything I've done to be witchu. Ri please don't do this, " he continued putting his forhead on mine. He whipped away a rear tht fell as he touched mii skin. He tried to kiss me but I turned mii head and stepped back.
"Drive safe d. I gotta go, "I said opening the door for miiself as jazzy did the same.
"Wanna talk about it? " she asked as we pulled away.
"Nope, " I replied poping the p and declining Darrions call.
I got out the shower and put on a blue tanktop with a jean jacket and a pair of jean shorts. I let mii hair stay curly so I wouldn't sweat it out. I put on some blue sandels and grabbed mii wallet and keys.
I started the drive to Darrions house. Today would be the first time in a week that we've actually face to face communicated.
I pulled up and got out. The door was unlocked so I walked in. "D. "
He came from around the cirnor with nothing but joggers on. His Mohawk was spinged up neatly with a little blue at the top. I looked him over as he did the same to I.
"Hey. Wanna chill wit me grams left so in all bii myself ma, "he said hugging me and rubbing a hand across mii lower back.
"Uh I gotta go somewhere but I just came for mii heels. " I said pulling away from him.
"Uh dae dae. Where's the platess, " a girl with box braids asked turning the corner. I looked at the girl and she smiled holding out her hand. "Hi I'm Trina, his sister. "
I reached connected mii hand with hers and said bluntly, " Hey I'm Ma'riyah but yhu can call me ri. And I don't know what we are."
"Oh your the wonderful girl I've been hearing about. Well it was nice to meet yhu I'll see yhu later. " She turned and walked back into the kitchen.
"So yhu don't know what we are now, " d asked putting his hands in his pockets and standing against the wall.
"D yhu were just making out with your ex while we were together not even a week ago so no I don't know what we are so if yhu don't mind can yhu unlock your cars so I can get mii freaking shoes, " I walked out the front door and over to his car. Of course he was right behind me with his hand I the door not letting me open it.
"I was drunk ri. Mii mom died. Everythings been falling down around me and ion kno how ta let that shit out, " he said looking me in mii eyes.
"So yhu push me away and tongue down yo ex. "
"Ma'riyah. I said I was sorry damn watchu want me ta do. Go back nn time and fix it well guess what I can't and yhu know that all this shit I got going on and yhu trnna put shit on me chill yo ion need this typa shit, " he said rubbing a hand over his face.
"Yhu right Darrion I am puttin to much shit on yhu. So ima leave yhu alone k, " I said opening the car door and grabbing mii shoes.
"Ma'riyah, " I didn't answer I just closed the door and looked at mii feet. "Ri,".
"Bye d," I turned around and left.
