Rea pulled up to the entrance of the airport and parked the car. I got out of the car, with Eli following behind me. Momma got out next and Rea popped the trunk of the car. I walked around with Eli and grabbed my bags.

"Do you need any help with your bags?" asks Rea.

"I think Liliana and I can handle it." says momma.

   "You sure?"

"Yeah. You've done enough already Rea. Thank you." says momma coming around and grabbing her bags. I shut the trunk and the three of us walk into the airport and over to our gate number to wait for our flight number to be called. I lean my back against a wall and sigh.

"Is something wrong Lil?" asks Eli.

   "I'm just a bit worried."

"'Bout what?" I don't say anything for a few seconds, Eli notices how nervous I am. "Hey. You can tell me. You tell me everything."

"I'm just worried about going to this new school. You know I'm not good with people. What if they don't like me?" I say quietly so momma doesn't hear.

"Then find people that do like you. Don't listen to the people that don't like you and say harsh things about you." he says. I give him a 'did you really just say that?' look.

"So you're saying that the kids at this school are going to start saying bad things about me before they get to know me?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. He furrowed his brows.

"What? I didn't say..." he paused realizing what he said. "That's not what I meant and you know that. I just meant that if someone of the kids don't like you and start..." I laugh cutting him off.

"Hey I know what you meant Eli. I was just teasing you." I say making him roll his eyes at me.

"Flight 324 to London in now boarding. Flight 324 is now boarding." came a woman voice over the intercoms. I push myself off the wall and look at Eli.

"Whelp. Here we go." I say as we go through security. The police officers look through my bag and let me go through the metal detector. Then they did the same to momma. Once she walked through the metal detector we made our way to the boarding pad. Momma handed the flight attendant our tickets. The end of her white long sleeve shirt slides up a bit revealing part of a skull tattoo on the inside of her wrist.

"Have a nice flight you two." says the lady happily smiling at us. She has long brown hair and brown eyes.

"Thank you." says momma. We board the plane and find our seats. Momma sat on the end by the aisle. I sat in the middle while Eli sat by the window.

   "This is exciting." says Eli.

"You're always excited to go anywhere Eli." I say.

"Liliana. Stop talking to 'Eli' already. I told you he's not real. He's gone. He died. You need to move on. He's in a better place now." momma whispers.

  "But momma he's not..."

"It's time to stop this nonsense. Unless you want to end up like your mommaw and I'm tired of hearing about Eli. There was nothing you could've done sweetie." she says.

"Whatever." I say pulling out my phone and earbuds. I put my earbuds in and turned on some music not listening to momma any more. I pull out my book and start reading from where I last left off.

~Time Skip~

Once our plane landed I put my phone, ear buds and my book back in my bag. Momma grabbed my wrist and lead me to the exit. I ripped my hand out of hers once e got into the airport. She opened her mouth to say something, but I walked away from her heading over to the conveyer to grab my suitcases. Eli comes and stands beside me. he put his hand on my shoulder.
