My Entire Life Changes..

I woke up after spending the night worrying about Delilah and how she was doing. I decided to go see her. I walked into my brothers room to tell him where I was going. "Ty, I'm going to go visit Delilah." He looked up and me and nodded his head. I realized that he's been through so much these past years and I think he's slowing being destroyed by what's going on, what happens when he finds out about me and Jake? Oh god. 

I took my brothers keys and walked outside, Jake was standing on the porch. "Jake what are you doing here?" He looked down and he had something in his hands. "I went to go see Delilah.." I then noticed what was in his hands. It was Delilahs necklace that I gave her in the 3rd grade. "No..." I dropped to my knees and put my hands over my eyes, I knew at that moment I lost my best friend in the entire world. "I'm so sorry, Alexa." He sat next me and held me as I cried my eyes out. He handed me back my necklace and I cried even harder. She was always there for me. I didn't know what to do. She was the only one who knew how I felt about everything, she was the only one there for me when my parents died. This moment I realized I lost almost everyone I cared about, My mom, dad, and Delilah. She was like my very own sister. All I left is Ty, and I'm going to protect him with all my heart. I can't take the risk by losing him.

I walked inside, Jake following me. I walked into Ty's room where he was sitting on the edge of his bed and I walked to him and at first he looked at my hand and noticed the necklace, then quickly looked at me and I know he saw the tears fall from my eyes and he knew, Delilah was gone. He got up and hugged me and began to cry along with me. 

Jake stood in the door way not knowing what to do. But he stayed there and watched. I thought maybe he didn't want to leave me or even Ty, during what had just happened to us. He then walked in and gave Ty and I both a hug and kissed me on the cheek and asked Ty if he could stay a while with me. Ty nodded his head, I kinda had a feeling Ty knew Jake wasn't gay.
