Different but Destined

Chapter 10.

The rest of the week goes by pretty fast, I haven't heard from Jess since the party and I've seen Zayn and Liam around campus a lot. I've even arranged to have a meal with Louis one day after school.

Friday has finally come - thankfully. I'm also looking forward to going in late today due to teachers being off.

I slip on some blue skinny jeans and a patterned tank top. I hear my ringtone go off and I reach in my bag looking at the caller ID - mum.

"Hey mum," I casually say into the phone.

"It's Dan." He grumbles, taking a bite of an apple through the phone.

I roll my eyes at his moodiness. "What do you want Dan?" I ask while getting some socks from my suitcase - I still need to un pack that.

"Well, mum's going on holiday with her new boyfrien-"

"Oh my god! Mums got a boyfriend?!" I scream down the phone, she's not dated for years - always saying it 'wasn't the right time' or she 'wasn't ready.'

"Not to keen on getting deaf any time soon Bella!" He shouts back to me. I laugh and nod - even though he can't see me.

"Anyways I need to stay with you for a week or something because I have no where to stay and mum doesn't trust me at the house for a week." I can tell he's rolling his eyes.

"Seriously Dan?!" I whine, I really didn't want him to stay with me. He caused me enough hassle when I was living with him. "What about grandma?" I ask just to annoy him - he hated staying there for some reason. He was the favourite, whenever I went there she would just ignore me however I couldn't care less.

"Please Bell, I really don't want to stay with grandma." He groans, slamming something on the side.

"Fine, fine whatever. But you are not staying any longer than a week, or I will kick you out." I say, meaning every word.

"Yes, I know." He mumbles.

"By the way, why didn't you just call me off your phone?" I ask.

"Can't afford the phone bill."

"Of course." I laugh, rolling my eyes.

"See ya sis." He happily says in the phone - well he's changed his tune.

"Bye Dan." I mumble. "Oh by the way you have to pay to stay here." I add just before hanging up.

I look at my outfit in the mirror and smoothly run my hand along my jeans before slipping my shoes on and heading out the door.

My phone vibrates in my hand, I look on the lock screen to see it's Louis.

From Louis-

Meet me at the coffee shop?

I gave Louis my number earlier in the week - we have been coming close lately. He was such a nice person to hang out with and I could literally tell him anything. I always loved having him around - he always brightened the mood and made me smile.

I reply an okay before running to campus and entering the familiar shop.

"Lou!" I shout to him as I enter the shop.

"Bella!" He stands up and gives me a hug, I return it and smile as I sit down.

The waiter comes over and he orders us two coffees with extra milk.

"You look stressed," His worried features show as I sigh.

"Yea.. My brother is coming here to stay for a week." I roll my eyes while running a hand through my hair.
