The Magic Within an Angel

Chapter Three

I woke to find myself laying down on something hard and cold. I had an intense headache and I was hungry.

Then everything came rushing back. Andrea. The beast.

I jumped up to see a small cave. A single man stood over me.

"Hello?" I said." Is anyone there? Please help me. Please." I stared off into the distance, sad and bored.

" So you have awakened."

I jumped.

" Who is there?" I whimpered.

" Hah! You don't even know me! I would think everyone, I mean, every angel would notice my voice. My name is Shadow, and I am here to take you away."

I turned to see the beast again.

" And I will take this idiot of a guard with me, I suppose." He scoffed. Lumbering into the cave, I got to see his features up close again. I closed my eyes.

" So I suppose you know that you are a princess, right?" He smirked.

I nearly toppled over onto the ground. A princess?

I shook my head. " Nope. You must be lying cause last time I checked, I am not a princess!" I did not know if this beast was playing with my mind or not.

" You don't know a lot of things. Like how you are the most prized angel I know. And how I intend to use you to take over the world."
