The Magic Within an Angel

Chapter Six

This is a bit rushed, and I'm sorry, but this chapter is a very important chapter with lots of details, so don't skip it!

I spent the day thinking about my escape plan. Shadow was surprisingly keeping a low profile today. I was pacing the room. A big man dragged me off, but I assumed that they were just taking me to lunch. I was wrong. Very wrong.

I found myself in a large throne room. Before I knew it, I was getting lectured by Shadow.

" You see, you angels are important. You keep the world at bay. Have you ever heard of the princess story? Yes? No? Ok, yes. Well, the story was wrong. The King and Queen found out that their child was the element angel,which meant that the old element angel was dead. That child was you. You are powerful, Tina. Very." Shadow smiled grimly. " They cast a spell on you that can only be broken with this wand." He held up a wand. " When I use this, your normal powers will disappear. You will be granted the powers of the four elements. You will be so powerful that you are granted a strong set of wings, even stronger than your regular wings." Shadow had pity in his eyes.

"I am very sorry, but I want to do this for my momma. She was killed by you angels. Just because we have an ugly appearance." Shadow touched his face. "With your help, you can convince people to join me. We will take over the world!" He studied my face. I was way too shocked. Poor Shadow! Instantly, I felt guilty. An angel had killed his mother? No wonder her was so thirsty for revenge!

I sighed. "Do it." I said. "Just do it. Get it over with." Once I had my amazing new powers, I could fight my way out of this prison and be free! Then I would be able to see my friends and family.

Shadow's face was grim. "I can't. With your new powers, you could destroy me and the followers I have gained - well, forced to join me over the years. So... well, I have decided to keep you here for a while." Shadow beamed at me. " Isn't that great?"

I groaned inwardly. Yeah. I am so excited. Note the sarcasm.

Okay, well, here it is. It might not be the best, but I tried!

P.S. This story is gonna be very action-packed. I'm just getting warmed up to this story. There is gonna be a touch of romance- a few kisses, maybe. I hope that you like it, anyways.
