The Magic Within an Angel

Chapter Two

I happily skipped down the road, not even caring the looks I got from passerby. My red dress made it hard to skip, but who cares? I was gonna be an angel.

I met Andrea in the Training Shack. She looked almost as excited as me.

"Heya, there, girlie. You look happy." She said, grinning. She was dressed in a nice silver dress. Of course, I did not notice the evil and blank look in her eyes. Bad luck.

"Yes, duh, I can't wait to actually become an angel! I have been waiting for this my whole entire life, so...I am ready!" I blabbed on and on, too excited to stop. I was so happy that when Andrea opened the door of the Training Shack without her usual cartwheel-hop routine she always did, I paid no mind.

That day was  the best day of my life! Of course, the Training Shack was bigger than a shack. It was a huge building with purple and black walls and had a spell on it to make it look small and...well, like a shack!

Andrea paid no mind to everybody else. She hung out with me, even when I was given the angel blessing, she was right outside the door.

Finally, we got time to ourselves. Andrea dragged me outside. Her eyes got even darker as she spoke.

"You, my little Tina, are the most wanted angel in the whole angel world right now." And Andrea began to change.

Change was not the right word for it. Andrea's body stayed in one place. It was the man inside her that moved out.

First a wavering shape drifted out of Andrea's body. Then the shape turned into a beast.

This was really a beast. So twisted was his face that it bulged in and out in different places. His eyes were small, black and beady. They glittered with pure evil.

His body was huge. He easily towered above me by several inches. He had broad shoulders a yard long and his arms were fully muscled. So were his legs. They both were long and wide- they could easily destroy me.

I backed up, terrified. Andrea was as still as a stone.

And then I was swept away in total darkness.
