I stood up and hurried to the kitchen. I took a glass of water and gulped it down. I exhaled deeply and rested by the sink. I blinked a couple of times and tried to rethink on what Joonmyeon said. I heard a knock and I turned. I saw umma coming in.

"What's wrong dear?" She asked. I went towards her.

"Mom... he wants to court me?!" I reminded her. But she just smiled and nodded.

"Yes. Not what's wrong with that?!" He asked.

"I can't! He's--" I stopped myself coz I remebered the threat and the promise I made. And second, I saw Joonmyeon peeking. He kinda looked serious and like he was surprised a bit. He saw me and he backed up and went away. I sighed.

"Whatever you think...he's a great kid for me. He's sweet, generous and kind. You can't find a guy like that anymore." Umma said. I exhaled deeply.

"Umma, whatever I do with my life, it's my own decision now. I'm an adult. I can choose my own. Just please....not now." I told her. She sighed and just nodded.

"I...I think so too. Whatever you choose, Sunhwa-ssi. Now, let's not keep our guest waiting." Umma said. We went out and saw Joonmyeon just sitting on the sofa, like he didn't stood up or left in his place. He looked up and gave a faint smile. Then he stood up.

"I'm sorry about that Joonmyeon." Umma said. He just smiled and bowed a bit.

"It's ok, eommeoni. Are you ok Sunhwa?" He asked. I tried not to look on his eyes. I don't want him to read my inner feelings and thoughts even though, he still can.

I just nodded.

"I'm fine. Thanks.." I mumbled.

"Are you hungry Joonmyeon. I'll just prepare dinner..." Umma said.

"Aniyo eommeoni. I'll be leaving already. Thank you for your hospitality." He said and bowed. I looked up. He looked into my eyes and just gave me a faint smile. He didn't say anything else, and just left.

Then I felt umma slightly slapped my arm.

"Aigoo, you stubborn child." She said.

"Aigoo umma!" I just said. After that, I just went upstairs and sat down my bed.

I looked at the window...thinking maybe, Joonmyeon was looking. But he wasn't.

Does he know what I was gonna say?

I sulked my head on my pillow.

I was walking towards the main gate for school when I saw Joonmyeon.

"Suho-ssi!" I yelled. He turned. I expected to see him smile....but he didn't He just gave me a straight-forward look. I suddenly felt scared coming near to him. But I just walked slowly towards him.

"H-hi...." I stammered.

"Hey. You need anything?" He asked. Still giving me a cold look. I looked down. I can't try looking at his eyes.

"I....are you mad at me?" I asked. He sighed and shook his head. He was clearly lying.

I saw him smirk and gave a small laugh.

"Oh. Now you think I'm a liar?!" He asked in disbelief. My eyes widened.
