"I'm just coming by for a quick visit." The human replied with a wink, running his hand through his wavy hair.
"get out." Sans repeated, his hands clenched into fists.
Christopher's smile fell, a monotonous expression taking over.
He took a step towards Sans, causing the short monster to step back in an effort to maintain his distance from the perpetrator.
"Oh, come on now. I'm not gonna hurt you." Chris rolled his eyes, annoyed by Sans' body language.
"stay away from me." Sans spat, not relenting or letting his guard down.
Chris scoffed, proceeding to inch closer to Sans, who was back to back to the counter.
Sans' soul felt like it was beating out of his chest, his adrenaline rushing through the magic in his body.
"You're nothing. You, nor that whore bartender, scare me one bit." Chris whispered passive aggressively, face to face with Sans.
There was a smirk on Chris' face.
It felt almost sadistic in a way, which reminded Sans of a distinct feeling he felt in some blurry memories he had buried deep within himself.
"Let's step outside for a minute. You will come if you know what's best for you and those around you." Chris grinned, gently putting his hands on Sans' back and guiding him outside to the parking lot outside of the bar.
Once outside and out of the view of those within the bar, Sans shoved Chris away from him and took a couple steps back, ready to initiate a FIGHT if needed.
"you have one minute to tell me what you came back for before i take matters into my own hands." Sans threatened, his eye sockets pitch black.
"Relax, all I want is for you to go on a date with me to the park today."
Sans furrowed his eyebrows, looking at Chris with disgust and confusion.
"are you out of your mind? fuck no."
Chris hummed, slowly shaking his head side to side.
"Tsk tsk tsk... And here I thought you cared about the safety of your brother. What was his name? Ah, Papyrus, eh?" Chris rambled, grinning.
Sans' eyes were wide with terror.
In the time that he had talked to Chris, while he did probably make some mention of his brother's antics, he had never explicitly disclosed his name or any other additional information that would grant Chris the access to such information.
"who... who are you?" Sans asked, perplexed.
"I'm just someone who has been watching you for a while."
Sans took a step back, putting his hands in his pocket to hide the trembling.
The parking lot went black, as Sans engaged in a FIGHT.
"If you do it, your brother gets it. I am not alone."
Sans' trembling hand hovered on top of the checking option, fearful of what could happen if he went through with it, or what he would see.
"That little you care about your brother?" Chris put a hand over his mouth, presumably shocked and further manipulating the situation.
After delegating with himself, Sans disengaged from the FIGHT, angrily defeated, earning a satisfied chuckle from Chris.
"Atta' boy, smart decision."
Sans remained silent, his teeth grinding against each other.
He felt helpless, confused and frustrated.
And most of all, an insatiable anger.
Just who the hell was Chris?
"Aw, Sansy, you seem upset. What's wrong?" Chris taunted in a baby voice.
"do me a favor and shut up. are we done here?" Sans snapped, feeling his magic boiling inside of him.
"Chill. You take things too seriously, I am just teasing ya."
Chris turned around, looking off into the distance.
He knew he was safe from any harm, as he perfectly understood the circumstances Sans was in that prevented him from attacking him.
He was a human and Sans was a monster.
It was as simple as that.
If Sans attacked him, the courts would prosecute him regardless of any accusations and pleas he made, while he would be defended and victimized.
An assault like this would tarnish the reputation of the monster kind in the area, which would potentially build tension and shatter the trust between monster kind and humans.
Not only that, but why would he attack if he knew it'd be putting his brother at risk?
Chris closed his eyes, enjoying the beautiful spring breeze.
"This set up could not be any more perfect..." He proudly thought to himself.
"Meet up with me at the park tonight once you get out of work. Do not tell anyone about this. You come alone, got it?" He said, firmly.
Sans remained silent, not bothering to keep amusing Chris with his engagement in the conversation.
"Well, I am done talking with you for now. I will see you later, do not be late." Chris began walking away, finally leaving the skeleton alone.
Once Chris was out of sight, Sans took a seat on the sidewalk and dragged his hands across his face.
He did not have a good feeling about this.
