"Guys," Nash said," we go home tomorrow, can we do something?"
"Yeah," Jack J moaned," I hate being stuck in here all the time."
"Amen!" Carter raised his hand in the air.
"Guys," Shawn said, looking at me," we need to just relax."
"Yeah!" Hayes butted in," Skylie almost died yesterday. Give her a break."
"Hayes, I'm fine, but what should we do?"
Nash laughed, "I don't know, you come up with the ideas."
"Well I know you said ice skating back home and even though I don't know how we still can." I suggested.
"You would do that for me?" Nash's face got soft.
"Of course! You're my brother!" I smiled.
Nash walked over and gave me a hug, " You're the best sister ever. I love you Sky."
"Awe! Nash I love you too!"
I love my family! They are definitely my life:)
"So ice skating?" Nash asked.
Everyone nodded and we all walked down to Matthew's van. Since Macie was coming, we let her and Cameron ride together and Nash, Hayes and I rode in Nash's car.
"Can you teach me to ice skate?"
"Of course!" Hayes smiled," I can teach you whatever you need to know."
I kissed him on the cheek," You're amazing."
He kissed me back," So are you."
When we got there, Matt's van wasn't there so we went in and got our stuff and stood outside the rink for them. Within about 5 minutes, Macie and Cameron walked in.
"Where is everyone?" Nash said looking around.
"Well they dropped Macie and I off and said they were going to park but I think I saw them pull away."
"Oh my gosh!" I shouted," they left us here for a date!"
"But why me?" Nash asked.
"I guess because you have a car."
Hayes laughed and Nash smacked him.
Cameron and Macie grabbed their stuff and met us at the ice area entrance.
"Can everyone ice skate?" Hayes pointed to everyone for reassurance.
He pointed to me. I nodded but he knew. I sat down on a chair and slid my foot into the skate. It was uncomfortable and I knew I would have a blister, but I ignored it. I slid my other foot in and laced up my skates.
"Hayes," I shouted, "did you bring an extra sweatshirt?"
He pulled his off and flung it at me.
"Hayes, it's co-." he cut me off, "I'd rather you be warm."
I blushed. Hayes helped me stand up and he walked me over to the door. Nash ran over to open the door but he fell.
I giggled," Are you okay?"
He stood up," I'm fine."
He opened the door and Hayes lifted me over the step to get in. I grabbed a railing so he could step in.
"Let me take one ride around and I will come get you."
I nodded and clung to the railing. As he went around, I let go and took a few steps. I moved my feet like you do when you roller skate and I started to skate. As I got to the middle, my vision started to blur for a moment and I lost my balance. I felt someone catch me.
"I won't ever let you fall." he whispered.
"Hayes, I love you." I said, standing up.
"Skylie, I love you too." and he smiled.
