"Cages?" Elena repeated.
I shook me head "you know, like dog crates."
It looked like she didn't believe me, but I continued.
"He opened one of the cages and forced me into it. The cages were long enough for me to lay down but the top of the cage hit my head when I sat. He asked my name as he clicked the three locks on my prison. I didn't say anything."
"Was it that hard plastic or was there some sort of bedding in there?" Elena asked tilting her head to the side.
"There was a pillow and a thin blanket."
She mouthed 'oh my god' "Then what happened?"
"Then he left. My stomach was twisted and my head was pounding. I asked Livy if she was okay and she told me she was scared. The three other girls began to talk to us. They first introduced themselves and told us his name was Brad. They told us they had been in their cages for a while, Caroline asked what the day was but neither Livy or I knew. I remember calming down a little and being over whelmed with the smell of death. The girls told us that they had not left their cages since they arrived days before. They said they got fed once a day and got a bottle of water. The one girl, Emily told us about the best way to use the bathroom. She said to hold it until it was time we got fed. Then when we were done eating to go in the bowl as it was the only way it would be disposed of and not in our cage. The door opened a while after that and the man, Brad, returned. Opened Emily's cage, grabbed her arm and pulled her out. She fell, her legs were numb because she hadn't stood in who knows how long. I remember he had his arm around her neck and then, just like that sliced her."
I closed my eyes trying to get rid of the image. Elena sat there, trying to take it in.
"Her blood covered the floor within seconds and he just let go of her body. she fell to the ground. He then left after wiping her blood off his hands and onto his shirt and saying she reminded him of his daughter. I remember Olivia and the rest of the girls screaming as I sat there trembling. All I wanted was to go home."
