Lizzie's POV
He was there .
Right in front of me.
I was having a panic attack already,
Five minutes in the hospital and I should already be in a locked room.

I was weak. I was scared. I was anxious.

The seconds flew bye when all I could do is sit there stare at my lap, having a mental breakdown slowly inside.
Losing your head is the worst in front of people. You never know what to do, it's the most embarrassing thing ever.
And sadly, fighting embarrassment is too hard for me to do. Quite frankly for a lot of people.
It's like a cockroach making a plan to deadest the shoe on its way down.
Hopeless, and Scary.
"You know a cockroach can live a week without its head." Mark said sternly.
Damnit.
Sometimes I forget that we can telepathically talk using my powers.
Now I'm embarrassed and resorting to anger.
"Yea, I learned that in Chemistry." I said.
"So I'm a little worse off than a cockroach?, got it, I'll figure out exactly which disease carrying pest I am" I said  angrily and sarcastically.
"Lizzie you know I didn't mean it that way" he said
"You are strong and quick, that's why you can live a week without it."

Marks POV
I couldn't even comprehend the conversation we were having.
Lizzie just tried to kill herself and I'm comparing her to a bug.
I felt terrible knowing that I, her best friend in this world since grade 6, didn't even know she had these problems.
I knew Lizzie had an anxiety problem, but I never thought it would come to this.
Right after she jumped Emma ran outside , me too follow.
There I saw Lizzie passed out in the snowy white grass like a princess.
I was almost certain she was already gone. Our powers didn't link up.
Beside the princess was Emma having a mental breakdown and crying uncontrollably. I comforted her as long as I could, holding her in my arms.
Then I snapped too.
I cried, every last bit a tears flowing.
I slowly let go of Emma and tried to grab Lizzie's hand.
Too late, i thought.

Before I could fully grab her hand, paramedics rushed down to us.
Putting me and Emma aside Lizzie was rolled up the driveway into an ambulance on a stretcher.
As well as Sean being rushed down the stairs on one right after.
All we could do was sit there and cry, as we watched our friends potentially die in front of our eyes.
I came back to reality.

"Please don't tell anyone what happened." She said quietly.
