Lizzie's POV

"Guys please don't let this change what you think about me."she said looking down.
"How can anyone be not approving of this, it's so cool!"Emma said quickly
"Yea I never thought this kind of thing existed."Mark said
"Until I met her ago"he pronounced again
"Lizzie why would we think about you differently?"jack wondered worriedly
She didn't want to tell them why.
She vowed never to talk about them again,never to mention her parents.
Flashback
"Get out of my house"her mother had told her solemnly
"Get Out!"her father screamed after her.
"Mum, dad why?"Lizzie was crying until. no return
"Because we can't handle you anymore!"
"Freak of nature.."her mother had said
Lizzie new they didn't mean it they were always drinking without thinking of what would happen.
Until he started to chase her out of her own house.
She stopped running when Maddie came down the stairs Crying and hugged Lizzie trying to calm her down.
"Lizzie I love mom and dad,but "
"But we need to get out of here!"maddie stated
"But they're our parents"she was crying now. "I can't leave them alone"
"Elizabeth!"
She turned in horror it was her dad running at her.
Without a second her father ran up to her and slapped her square in the face turning at maddie. ..
Before he could do anything to her Lizzie saw what happened and transformed instantly.
She ended up knocking her dad out in the process and her mother was probably never gonna sober again based on the amount of wine she had drunken.
"Maddie?"
"Are you okay??" Lizzie yelled worried
"I'm f-fine." She heard her sister say
She slowly got up from the floor and had probably the most serious thing shes ever said in her life.
"You grab the car keys, ill start packing essentials..."
Flashback over
That was the day that her and Maddie ran away from her abusive parents.
She vowed never to mention them ever again but broke her promise to her sister.
"My parents"she barely said looking down
""Lizzie I'm so sorry.."
She was cut off from her sorrow by a hug from someone green.
"Thank you"
She hugged back without hesitation.
"Your welcome" jack was almost tearing up too.
While they were having a moment the other girls had a plan.
"Look at how cute they are!" Marzia said
"I know!!"Emma replied
"We have too get them together"
"Do I have permission to take a not so serious photo of you Lizzie?"
"Huh?"
"Uhh I don't know, I guess" she said delighted from jacks hug still.
Emma proceeded to take out her phone and snap just only about 37 pictures of them together.
"Should I post this on instagram?"
She contemplated out loud
"NO" simultaneously from Jack and Lizzie now ending the hug.
"Well at least I have proof"
"And blackmail"mark whispered
"Lizzie I just have one question then" jack said realeasing from her arms
"Where is Maddie today?"

Anyway this was basically a chapter to help with an It of Lizzie's backstory!
Sorry it got so uh.. you know
Depressing! It had to be done though to fit with my plot for this story.
Also am I the only one realeasing now the Emma is the me in this situation?!
