Prologue
When the Clans were thinking about going on the Great Journey, after the chosen cats came with news, RiverClan and ShadowClan still refused. Clans quarreled with what to do, and they waited longer. The destination was too far, and WindClan had become too weak.
When the Twolegs had completely demolished WindClan, and when they dried up the entire river, the Clans decided to leave. Instead of heading to the lake territory, the cats crossed the Twoleg place.
The nests grew closer, and the cats started to break into more groups based on their strength. With the parting of felines, their faith grew thinner too. Once they arrived to a land with many territories, fit for the twelve Clans, now called districts, StarClan had become an elder's tale.
The Dark Forest took this as an advantage. StarClan had nearly vanished, and fewer stars glittered in the sky. Tigerstar and a troop of cats come down and face the cats. He declared there would be one leader of all, or else there would be battle of dead and the living.
Blackstar agreed immediately, along with Mudstar (Tallstar died and Mudclaw was made leader). Leopardstar was a bit more hesitant, but agreed. Firestar rejected it completely, along with all of ThunderClan, and he was publicly killed.
Because of Tigerstar's evil and the ThunderClan leader's refusal, he declared that two cats, a tom and a she, will be chosen from each district to compete in a "game". To fight to the death, with one lone victor. The time of Clan was over, and the districts were here...
