"Hey guys, I'm gonna head home." Jungkook looked at the watch on Tae's wrist, since he himself never carried a watch. It was past midnight and he was feeling pretty woozy after downing a few drinks, he wasn't a big drinker anyways.
Jin looked over. "You sure Kook?"
"I'm an adult, totally fine." He reassured.
Taehyung started getting his own jacket. "Let me walk you home."
"Hyung it's fine, stay." Jungkook sighed then quickly glanced at Jimin and winked at Taehyung. "Go get em tiger."
Taehyung frowned but nodded anyways and started peeling his jacket back off.
Jungkook quickly left the party, walking through the city to get home. He stopped at a convenience story and grabbed himself some banana milk and ramen to make when he gets home. Currently, Jeon Jungkook was living the life. College, parties every weekend, the occasional one night stand.
He moved out of the college dorms earlier this year and got an apartment right next to his best friends, Taehyung. He liked having his own place, it took a lot of begging to get his parents to agree on paying at least half the rent for him, they ended up paying the whole rent. Besides, basically everyone lived in the building. Jin and Namjoon lived a floor above him, Jimin, Yoongi, and Hoseok lived in the floor below him, it was nice having good friends so close.
He neared his apartment building and swiped typed in the key pad, it flashed green and he opened the door. The apartments was almost styled like a hotel, a lobby at the bottom with sofas and a TV, a pool on the top floor.
A daycare, not that he'll ever need that.
But Jin once joked about dropping Jungkook off at it.
To be honest, Jungkook was a bit babied, and he didn't deny the fact. His hyungs always came to check up on him, Jin sometimes came to cook dinner for him, Yoongi did his laundry from time to time, Namjoon would attempt to fix things but break them more. Hoseok once mentioned Jungkook getting a job and stop relying on his parents so much but Jungkook quickly dismissed the idea. Why would he give up his easy care free life?
He never once ever had to lift a finger for anyone but himself.
As he entered the elevator a women ran out and bumped into his shoulder. He looked back and watched her run out of the building. Was she okay?
Jungkook waited in the elevator, for sure he would just sit and relax, turn his TV on. When the elevator opened he heard a small crying. He didn't think anyone on this floor had a baby. Who ever baby it was, they needed to quiet the baby down, it'll affect his sleep.
As he neared his apartment at the end of the hall the crying became louder and he saw a carrier in front of his door.
"What the fu..." He was almost scared to look inside the carrier but he leaned over.
Inside was a small infant, as small of an infant he had ever seen in his life. It was tiny! The baby's hand where in small fist and the baby's eyes where in lines and shed tiny tears. It's mouth... toothless. Jungkook quickly looked around the hall way, no one was around.
"Woah, okay, okay, what's going on?" He asked himself and looked around again. He quickly opened his door in a panic and picked up the carrier rushing inside the apartment.
He placed the carrier on the table and looked at the baby. "Okay Kook, calm down, this is a mistake, someone dropped it off at the wrong door or something."
In the carrier was a letter addressed to Jeon Jungkook. "Shit." He mumbled and hesitantly grabbed the letter. He let out a nervous laugh and looked at the baby, shaking his head. "There's no way..."
He opened the letter and every crucial detail of approximately nine months ago flooded back to him. He was at a party, he got drunk, she got drunk, condom broke... but he pulled out right?
"Fuck Jungkook, you know pulling out doesn't work." He pulled out a chair and buried his head in his hands. "Did someone spike my drink?" He asked himself, hoping he was just horribly high or drunk or something that didn't involve a baby on his kitchen table still crying.
He looked at the baby, again, because fuck, it's a baby. "Shhh, okay okay, don't cry." He hovered his hand over the baby's small hand, to scared to actually touch it, he might break it. He touched the soft skin so lightly and the baby sniffled a few times but stopped crying. "There you go, crying is for babies." Jungkook faced palmed himself. "And that's what you are."
He looked around, maybe the baby was hungry. He didn't have any bottles, or milk, or god .... diapers. He picked up his phone and dialed his number one contact.
"H-hello." Tae's voice came out raspy.
Jungkook nearly screamed into the phone. "Come home now!" Finally all his panic was manifesting it's self. "Like right now!"
"I-i'm kinda b-busy ah-"
"Are you fucking with Jimin?" Jungkook asked, feeling proud he managed to get his best friend to score such a night, almost forgetting the task at hand.
"No Y-yoongi." He breathed into the phone. Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows, okay plot twist, whatever, not important.
"Hyung, it doesn't matter, just come upstairs. I have a big problem." Jungkook yelled into the phone. Jungkook waited for a response but could only manage to make out some moans and groans. "When you're done go to the store first! Get baby milk and bottles, and diapers!" He yelled before hanging up.
Jungkook ruffled his hair up and finally unstrapped the tiny being from the carrier. His hands shook as he lifted the being, carefully placing a hand behind the head and another at the butt. He held the baby close to his chest, the infant made some sort of cooing noises and drooled from both sides of his mouth.
Suddenly the door swung wide open and Taehyung, half dressed, probably coming from Yoongi's apartment downstairs stared at Jungkook and the baby, with that 'what the hell' look.
"What's that?" Taehyung asked, out of breath.
Jungkook turned towards him and showed him the baby. "Hyung... I think I'm a father."
Taehyung fainted.
