Making it work

3 Months later

Jungkook was at the kitchen table, studying for his exam while Woojin played on the floor, propped up by a pillow. Woojin could lift his head, and even barely started to sit up, not yet, but getting there. He gurgled a lot now.

Taehyung was lying next to Woojin watching TV. The small apartment had become crowded, littered with toys and bottles. Jungkook was so grateful to Taehyung, he had convinced Jungkook to finish school college. It was hard and a tight schedule but Jungkook was managing just fine.

As expected, Jungkook's parents cut him off from all financial support, claiming if he was old enough to have a baby he was old enough to pay for one too. It was unfair, and everything regarding Woojin was unexpected but in this exact moment he could say at the very least he was happy.

Taehyung gave up his small gaming room and they turned it into a nursery, Jin bought them a crib, and turned out to be surprisingly supportive, as where the rest of they guys. They were so fond of Woojin, always showering him in toys and new clothes, Jungkook suspected they loved being uncles more then they were willing to admit.

Jungkook worked on weekends as a waiter, Jin didn't seem to  mind baby sitting every weekend, though Namjoon complained a bit at first, but he started to warm up. Taehyung worked at a convenience store at night three days a week. Jungkook was so grateful to Taehyung, he doesn't think he'll ever be able to express it enough.

Woojin rolled over, his new thing. He liked to roll around, he always laughed and giggled when Taehyung tried to chase him and he rolled away. Taehyung just scooped him up and placed him back next to him.

Jungkook placed all his papers in a pile. "Hyung can you put him in his high chair, I'm gonna feed him." He got up and went to the freezer, selecting home made baby food Jin made every week. Tonight it would be mashed carrots, seeing as Woojin couldn't eat anything but mashed foods.

Taehyung picked Woojin up and placed him in the high chair. "We should get him a jumper. He's pretty strong and likes to move around."

Jungkook nodded. "I'll put some money away with my next check."

Taehyung got up and pulled some Chinese left overs out of the fridge, warming them up in the microwave. "Should I take him to his doctor appointment next week or will you?" He asked, looking at the date marked on the calendar.

"I'll take him." Jungkook placed a spoon full of baby food in Woojin's mouth, scooping the food that leaves his mouth at the corner with the spoon and skillfully placing it back in his mouth. Jungkook got up to get a napkin as Tae got some plates.

They maneuvered around the kitchen together like pro's. Everything had become so mundane, it felt like Woojin had been with them this whole time, that he didn't just randomly show up and they didn't just move in together on a whim.

Woojin liked to talk a lot now, he babbled about anything. He loved to laugh into his hands and cause mischievous when he could. For example, right now, while Jungkook's away from him he pushed the carrots off the high chair and onto the floor.

"Woojin..." Jungkook sighed.

Taehyung put his hands on his hips. "That was very naughty." He said pointing and making a funny face. "Don't made your Appa cry."

Jungkook punched Taehyung. "Since when did I cry? Don't make me seem weak."

Taehyung shrugged and continued his lecture. "You hear me young man."

Woojin just giggled into his hands and Taehyung turned so soft, he lifted the baby and claimed bath time for the both of them. Jungkook rolled his eyes and picked up the baby food and cleaned up the living room before strolling into Woojin's room to find him some pajamas for when he got out of the bath with Tae.

On the outside they might look like a couple but Jungkook rejected that idea. Taehyung asked him if he wanted them to be anything more than friends a month ago. It was a valid question, they lived together, raising a baby together, but Jungkook got scared. He trusted Taehyung but he already felt like a burden to the older. He said no and Taehyung nodded in understanding and they never talked about it again.

Jungkook was grateful Taehyung wasn't pushing the subject. He loved Taehyung and at this point he knew it, but everything had changed so much. He was scared Taehyung would fall out of love so quickly and then he and Woojin would have no place to go, he was over thinking it.

"Here you go." Taehyung handed Woojin in a towel to Jungkook and Jungkook took him.

"Thanks hyung." Jungkook smiled.

"That Jeon kid has a baby."

"Wow, that's disturbing."

"He's a total man slut and look where that got him."

Yes, Jungkook continued school but over time he wondered whether it was something actually worth finishing. It wasn't that crazy for a college kid to have a kid yet he became singled out in all his classes and rumors began to spread.

He didn't normally let them get to him, he had to be strong and for the most part he was. What hurt him the most was when his best friends walked up to him and asked him whether they were true. One day Jimin asked Jungkook if it was true that he twenty different STD's from sleeping around and Jungkook snapped.

"Jimin what the fuck do you think?" He yelled, throwing his books down. His face started to turn red.

Jimin looked at him in shock, he didn't expect Jungkook to snap like that. "Chill Jungkook, it was just a question."

Jungkook looked at Jimin in disbelief. "I'm your best friend! Why would you need to ask that?" His voice cracked. "Do you really think of me like that?"

Jimin shook his head. "No Jungkook... I'm sorry I was jus-"

"Yeah I know, just asking." Jungkook turned around and left campus a wreck. He couldn't stop crying. He wanted to go home and tell Taehyung how stupid Jimin was being. Taehyung should be home by now, he had afternoon classes and was watching Woojin anyways.

When he got home the apartment door was unlocked. He walked in and everything was silent, he looked around and didn't see Woojin. He assumed Taehyung took Woojin on a walk through the park or something and hurried to their room.

Except when he opened it his heart dropped.

I have a three hour delay for the next two days and im just yasss
