Change

Last time

       'Briiiiing....',my alarm rang .  Startled , I jumped up from the bed and woke Riley up .Riley , who had been sleep-talking, jumped up and said aloud,'who dare wakes the Queen from her sleep'. I screamed at her and said , 'it is I , the Magnificent Dame'. On hearing this , she blinked her eyes and yawned out loud .After this , she said to me , 'you aren't that magnificent,you know ' and then we laughed.
        We prayed. We bathed and then went to the kitchen . There , I saw my mum (lovely to be precise) making pancakes in different shapes. I greeted her and gave her a peck . Riley also greeted her . We then helped ourselves to  mouthfuls of pancakes laced with chocolate syrup and strawberries . My dad came out and said hi . My siblings also came to me and pecked me . After eating , Riley and I bade ourselves goodbyes and farewells and then we hugged for hours. I could say the world had ended before we parted (too much , right?).
            Riley and I went downstairs and I told my parents I would like to see her off . My parents, understanding my plight,nodded and smiled at me . I saw Riley off and promised to call her when I got to Atlanta.
            As I walked back home , I mumbled a quick prayer and said , 'God , lead me'. I entered the house and hugged my mum . Mum said to me , ' D ,go pack your stuffs '. I said to her , ' okay mum ' and then she told me that we would be leaving in the next two hours. I went  to my sisters ( yeah , my siblings are girls . Whew! they are tiring but I love them) and told them to pack their stuffs also . I went  to my room and stood at the door and looked for a while inside . I knew I was going to miss this room . I entered and began to pack my stuffs . I packed my  keepsake box ,where the mementos of special stuffs are kept . I put my pictures , frames and albums into a box with my favorite pillow. I picked my diary ,my bible and journal and put it in my handbag as I needed them in the plane . I packed my clothes and shoes and my favorite books . All this , I did while miming to ' Son of man' by Tye Tribbett . I packed all my stuffs and went downstairs to whip up something for my sisters and I to eat . I made waffles and laced it with honey . While I ate this ,I remembered my other best friend, who was a boy named Henry .
Henry and I loved waffles and we always competed when we ate with one another . Henry always did beat me and I had to do whatever he wanted . As I reminisced on our past competitions, I heard a knock and went to open the door . Coincidentally, it was
Henry . Riley had told him about it and I guess he had come to find out himself. As I opened the door , he asked worriedly,' Damsel , are you really leaving?' I nodded and then he entered(he is the only one that calls me damsel ) . He told me he would miss me a lot and that he had always wanted to share something with me . I smiled at him ,punched him playfully and said , 'Henz ...'. He looked into my eyes for a while and told me he liked me . I knew I liked him too but I had promised God and my parents that I would wait for the right time ( this might be the right time , but I know if it was ,God would tell and show me ).
I had told him once when he had asked me if I would love to have a boyfriend . I remember vividly saying , ' Henz , my aim for now is to strengthen my spiritual and educational life ..'. That particular day , I had wondered why he had asked me but I couldn't put my hand into it. Now,it seems so clear that he had tried to know if I was with anyone (well , I'm with Jesus).I answered him saying that I liked him too . I told him my belief and he also told me he had the same belief . He told me he wanted to tell me before I left . He concluded saying,' God bless you Dame ' . I also said so and then we hugged . He promised to call me and never forget me.
After a while, he left after greeting my parents and sisters . I went back to check on my sisters as mum had told me that we would be leaving in the next thirty minutes. I inspected their stuffs and left for my room . In my room, I slept for twenty minutes or so . Not long after, I heard my dad say , ' Dame , Dolly and Diana , come downstairs . We are about to leave for the airport..' I jumped up and said to myself , 'it's really happening'...

  I had promised to update yesterday but I didn't. I am sorry guys . *looking gloomy *.. pls forgive me .
