'Excuse me ...', I heard , still sleeping. I began to shift in order to tune out the words . Then ,I lightly felt a tap on my shoulder and opened my eyes to see who was yearning for my attention .I realized it was one of the air hostesses and then I sat uprightly to answer . I noticed she carried a cart and then I told her , I would like an orange drink with a sausage as the side course .She handed them over to me on a tray and left after I had thanked her .
I ate my food ravenously and headed to watch a movie , which made me cry like a seagull all the way . Like seriously, a seagull. I cried so much that the passengers beside me , looked at me with contempt. I eventually stopped crying and heard the pilot announce that we would be landing in the next five minutes. I tightened my seat belt and waited for the airplane to land. After we landed , we went through the arrival lane and moved to the baggages terminal to pick up our baggages .
Hours passed and I found myself in a new home . As we ( my family and I) were dropped at the porch of the house , I couldn't but wonder why everything went so fast . The announcement, the goodbyes and the big change . Well, the house had likely the same exterior designs and that made me feel happy . I smiled at my family and hoped for a wonderful, no-regrets, happy time in the new home and new city , Atlanta.
Few minutes later, I was at the front of my new room , savoring the interior and the furnitures. I couldn't but admit that I loved it . I threw my bags and boxes on my bed and sat in lady-like manner.I took my phone out and texted Riley and Henry. I informed them about my arrival at Atlanta and walked slowly downstairs, trying to get acquainted with the new environment . I went to my dad and helped him pack he and mom's stuffs upstairs. After these , I went to my room , opened my diary and began writing all my heart had witnessed for the past few days. I poured out my feelings and thanked God for journey mercies.
After this , I went to my younger sisters' room and pecked them each , after assuring them that they would be alright and that they wouldn't find it hard to adjust . I later went to my
parents' room and bade the goodnight. After bidding goodnight to my family , I went to my new bathroom and took a lazy shower . After this I changed to my 'Minnie mouse' pj and knelt down to say my night prayer . As I knelt down, I remembered Jade ,' the girl I met at the changing room' . I remembered her plight and her sorrow and siphoned five minutes to pray for her, praying for God's intervention in her life. After I prayed for my family and I and laid on my bed to sleep like a princess. Yeah like a princess.
