Chapter Twenty-Seven

New Enemy

"Optimus! I'm picking up a faint Autobot signal near the Sahara desert.", Ratchet reported.

"Ratchet, you'll come with us. JetBlaze, man the groundbridge.", I nodded and Ratchet walked over to our human friends.

"Jack, Miko, Rafael, I have an important task for you three.", Ratchet said and the bots looked at one another, "Keep an eye on JetBlaze at all times. Don't let her out of your sight."

"Uh, Ratchet? I don't exactly need a babysitter.", I said and looked to my left at a big red button, "Ooooh! What's this do?"

I looked over at Ratchet and seen he was giving me a deadpaned look. The kids started snickering along with Bulk and Smoke.

"Just....keep her busy.", Ratchet told them.

I shrugged and activated the bridge. The bots went through one by one. Ratchet looked back at me before transforming and driving through. I turned the bridge off and glanced at the red button. I bit my lip and looked over at the kids. When I seen they weren't looking, I went to press it.

"Blaze....... what are you doing?", I looked over towards the kids and seen them all watching me.

"Uh...... nothing.", I quickly pull my servo away and smile innocently.

"Riiiight.", Miko smirked.

They went back to playing video games.

::JetBlaze, re-open the groundbridge.:: sire's voice came through the com link.

I walked over to the bridg and opened it. The bots all walked through the bridge. Ratchet came through last along with a femme. They were talking, laughing. I stood by the groundbridge controls and deactivated the bridge once they were through.

I did my best to smile at the new femme. On the inside, I was full of rage toward the new femme. Something about her wasn't quite right.....

"JetBlaze, this is Accelerator. She was my partner back on Cybertron before she moved on to another job.", Ratchet said, "Accelerator, this is JetBlaze."

"It's nice to meet you.", I smile, "I've got training to do. I'll see you in a bit."

I turned around and my face contorted to anger, my jaw clenched. I walked to the training room. When I arrived, I started punching anything I could which was a punching bag.

"JetBlaze, this is Accelerator, she was my partner back on Cybertron.", I mocked, "Accelerator, this is JetBlaze."

I growled and continued to punch. 

"He introduces her as his former partner but doesn't introduce me as his mate. What am I? Not important?!", I growled and punched harder.

I sent a powerful punch towards the punching bag causing it to fly off its hinges and hit the wall. Hard. I fell onto my knees, crying. I heard the door open but paid no attention, thinking that whoever came in would leave me alone.

"Soldier, are you-", I cut the commander off.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!", I yelled and ran out of the room, leaving the commander stunned.

I ran to the one bot I knew would comfort me. Soundwave. I walked into his room and didn't see any sign of him. Knowing he'd eventually find me in his room, I stayed put and listened to the commotion outside of the room.

"Sir, may I speak with you?", I heard Ultra Magnus' voice clear as day. He was close.

"Of course, commander. What is it?", sire's voice answered.

"She's upset.", Ultra Magnus stated.

"Where is she now?", sire asked.

"I don't know. I attempted to see what was wrong and she took off after yelling.", he answered.

"I will see if I can find her. Thank you, commander. JetBlaze is a complicated femme to get through to. You did your best.", I heard heavy footsteps as the two walked off.

I heard soft pedes not too long after.

"Soundwave.", so it was Ultra Magnus that left, not both of them.

"Yes?", I smiled slightly through the tears as I heard his voice.

"Have you seen JetBlaze? It has come to my attention that she's upset.", sire said.

"No, I have not. However, if I do see her I will attempt to figure out what's going on and I will let you know.", Soundwave answered, "I only know of a few places she'd go to be alone. Her own room, my room, or up top."

"Thank you, Soundwave.", sire said, "For everything."

I heard him walk off as well as Soundwave. A few minutes later, the door opened and blue optics looked at me worriedly. They flashed red and the person walked inside. As the bot walked further in after locking the door, I could see her figure better.

"What do you want, Accelerator?", I snapped.

"I want you to stay away from Ratchet. He's MINE!", she yelled and swung at me.

I wasn't expecting her to fight me. When the blow came I slammed back on the berth face first. She drew out her sword. At least that was what I thought I seen until it became visible. A hammer. My optics widen as she swung and everything went black.

Soundwave POV 

After talking with Optimus, I walked to Jet's room as he went up top. I stopped after hearing a scream and bolted to my room. I tried the code but the code wouldn't work. I grabbed the door and forced it open. My optics widened as I seen JetBlaze on the floor, leaking Energon badly.

The sparkling wouldn't survive unless I got her to Ratchet. Now! I lifted her up and carried her to he med bay where Ratchet was currently working. As soon as I set her down, he spun around and started working on her. No questions asked.

I assisted him as he worked. I attempted to reach JetBlaze through our bond.

'JetBlaze, you there?', I asked.

'I'm here. Primus, everything hurts!', she whined, I sighed, relieved to hear her voice.

'What happened? You're a mess!', I asked as I held a couple cables for Ratchet to repair.

'It was Accelerator. She found me and warned me about staying away from Ratchet', I glanced up at Ratchet as she said this, 'She started throwing punches and eventually hit me with a hammer.'

I cringed as her scream played over and over in my processor. When Ratchet finished with the cables, I let go and backed up against the wall. I held my helm, not caring that my servos were full of Energon. 

Ratchet walked over to me and put a servo on my shoulder.

"M-make it s-stop.", I pleaded, he grabbed a sedative and injected the sirum.

I walked over to another berth and lied down. I could still hear her screams and see her limp for, lying on the ground. Eventually, I fell into recharge.
