After practice that night, you walked home with Hinata, the glow of houses coming alive within the small city.

"You're really something Hinata-kun. I've never seen anyone that short being able to spike like that. I can't even spike that well." You laughed and looked over at the ginger.

"(Y/n) you just need to practice. I'm sure you'll be able to spike. " You looked at him, blushing.

"We just met this morning, we're not that familiar with each other. I couldn't spike like you could." Fixing your bag on your shoulder, you shyly looked away.

"You sure could, (y/n). I believe in you!" He laughed and looked at his watch.

"Oh! I'm gonna be late. See you tomorrow, (y/n)!" Hinata waved to you and bolted down a side street.

"Mom! I'm home!" You smiled and entered, seeing your father at the dinner table.

"Hello Dad, how was work?" Sitting down beside him, you smelled the vegetables your mother was cooking.

"It was very nice actually, (y/n). How was school and volleyball?" Your father asked as he skimmed through a newspaper article.

"Amazing! Girls didn't have practice, but I got invited to the boys practice. There's this real short first year and he can spike!" You laughed a little as your mom sat down dinner.

"It's just...I've never seen someone with such amazing abilities. It's like he has...wings." Sighing, you dug into the dinner.

Your brother Kento smiled and waved his hands. "Wings? He can fly!" You giggled with your mother.

"Yeah...he can fly."

About a week into school, you had been practicing hard with the girls for their practice match, but it seems that on Friday night the boys would have a practice match against their rivals Nekoma.

You were leaving school, heading towards the girl's gymnasium for practice when Hinata came up.

"It's been awhile (y/n)! How's practice?" Hinata smiled at you.

"It's been really amazing, I'm working extra hard and all the girls say I've got great moves." You smiled back at him.

"I'm glad you're fitting in! We're playing Nekoma tomorrow night, are you coming?" Hinata asked as he slung his satchel over his shoulder.

"I'm planning on it. The rest of the girls are coming from my team, so I'm basically forced. I think my parents are coming to watch too." You stopped at the gym door.

"It'll see you tomorrow night (y/n), look for #10!" Hinata gave you his signature grin and jogged off to the other gymnasium.

You looked at the gym, seeing none of the girls there yet. None of the lights were on, so you flicked them on.

"I guess I'm setting up first tonight..." You sighed.

"Hurry up (y/n)! We'll be late to the game and won't have good seats!" Your mother yelled from downstairs.

You slid on your jacket from the Girl's Volleyball Team and sneakers, running downstairs. Tying your (h/c) locks up into a ponytail, you smiled at your mother.

"I'm here, I'm here! Don't worry." You smiled and took Kento from your mom as she tried to call your dad. Pacing the floor, she dialed once again.

Frustrated, she sat the phone down after a few tries.

"I guess he's not coming to the game." Your mother said as she picked up the keys to her car. You shook your head and walked out with your mother and brother.

On arrival, you saw many supporters on the Nekoma side.

Sitting down beside Kento and your mother, you looked to the Karasuno side and saw the boys.

"Mom, can I head down there just for a second? I need to wish them good luck." You smiled as she nodded, but Kento grabbed onto your jacket.

"I wanna go." He said bluntly and you laughed a little, picking him up.

"Let's go then, shrimp." You went down the steps and onto the gym floor, walking over to the Karasuno side.

"Hinata! Kageyama!" You waved and quickened your pace.

"I hope I'm not bothering you, you've got a half an hour before it starts. I wanted to wish you all good luck." You smiled.

"Thanks, (y/n). But who's the little boy?" Kageyama looked at Kento who smiled.

"This is my little brother Kento. He really likes volleyball. And I mean really." Kento looked around and pointed to a lone ball.

"Volleyball!" He smiled and you laughed, Hinata joining.

"He seems to enjoy it a lot. Kento, meet Kageyama and Hinata." You looked across the court, looking at the Nekoma players stretch.

"Kage! Hinata!" Kento reached out and pulled on Hinata's shirt.

You caught eyes with the players, turning your head away fast only to see Kento holding onto Hinata.

"You can take him if you want." You laughed and Tsukishima gave a smug smirk from over at the benches.

"Tsukishima! I saw that!" Hinata yelled, holding in his anger because of the three year old clutching onto him.

"Tsukki! Tsukki!" Kento yelled and pointed at the blonde.

Kageyama, Hinata and yourself could hardly hold in your laughter. You reached over and took Kento.

"We're gonna go, good luck to you all!" You reached out and hugged Hinata and Kageyama, turning around to head back to your seats.

"Good luck Tsukki!" You quickly shouted, Tsukishima glaring at you at the sound of it.

Kageyama snorted. "Dumbass, your face is red."

"It is not!" Hinata shouted before turning to warm up.

The match was certainly interesting, because Karasuno members couldn't keep their hands off each other (🌚) and couldn't stop shouting. Kageyama was extremely scary when he was angry.

But Nekoma was ahead by 3 points in the first set. If Karasuno didn't catch up, it would be bad for them.

"Cmon! Hinata! Nice serve!" You cheered, smiling as he served it over the net, Nekoma receiving it roughly and causing a chance ball.

Their setter was good, that was no lie. He didn't seem like that type to lead a team, he wasn't out going or encouraging at times.

But he kept the team intertwined.

He set it and of course, it's was a just regular spike, so Kageyama and Tsukishima blocked it fairly easily.

It seems their tricks are being seen through, but you haven't seen Hinata spike yet, he's in the back of the formation.

You are watching him throughout the set, which Karasuno wins by one point.

Your eyes are on Hinata most of the time, cheering and waving at them. But what's this feeling attracting you to watch him?
