I was outback rollin one with some of my niggas. "Jay come here!" I looked at Miya in the doorway and got up handing the blunt to this kid. I followed her back inside the house. "I want you to meet Sandra." I looked to see a darkskinned short thick girl. Mama had it going on. "Nice to meet you ma I'm Jay." I introduced and flashed her a smile. "I'm Sandra" she blushed and shook my hand. "Hey guys!" I turned to see Promise with ole dude from lunch. I mentally rolled my eyes and said hey. "Sandra what you say we go somewhere a little less crowded." I grabbed her hand and walked off. Promise POV I was getting annoyed with Jay's slick ass comments. "Malik lets dance!" "Promise?" He looked so scared. "Yes?" "Let me take you out? On like a proper date with just us." He spoke really fast. I giggled at his shyness. "I would love that" "great I'll text you more details about it." I leaned over kissing his cheek . "Night Malik." I shut his car door. "Night Promise." I walked in the house I was so excited I almost tripped up the steps. I got to my room undressing and put on my pajamas and laid in my bed. I got a little upset because of our encounter this evening she was acting like I hurt her I didn't do shit to her. I turned my phone off and just went to sleep to get it off my mind. *next day* Promise POV I got to school a little earlier than usual so I sat in the cafeteria and to my suprise I saw Miya and Brandon. Jay POV I know what y'all thinking why the fuck am I chilling with Sandra when I like Promise well I can keep waiting on Promise besides she way more interested in ole dude so I'm just gone do me and if it meant to happen it will. Sandra is so down to earth she chill and we get along great I'm kinda digging shawty. I'm thinking about asking her out soon because I gotta keep her attention on me . The bell rings signaling to go to class we all get up and say our goodbyes be in walking Sandra to class. "Sandra, I was wondering if you want to go on a date with me this weekend?" She looked me up and down trying see if I was being serious or not I guess. "Yes" she smiled at me and went to class. A nigga was hype asf I hurried to class trying not to be late but I ran into Promise. She rolled her eyes pushing past me. I grabbed her arm "what the hell wrong with you." I asked her getting pissed "Nigga me! What's wrong with you? You been giving me dirty looks and these slick ass comments like I did some shit to you." She yelled getting agitated with me. "Yeah cause you been running around with that fool Malik knowing damn well he ain't shit." She rolled her eyes again. "You don't even know him to say some like that. Just stop worrying about me Jayla." And with that she turned to get to class. Promise POV All class period I was pissed I cannot believe her. Saying some shit like that to me like she lost her damn mind. "Promise!" I looked up "what!" I yelled annoyed. "Class over let's go" Brandon said looking at me weird. I looked around and saw everyone was gone. I walked out the class ready for the day to be over. "Promise!" I turned around to see Malik running towards me. He looked so fine today I just couldn't help but smile when he got near me this boy doing some shit to me.

She reached her hand to help me up but I shoved it and stood up grabbing my bag. "Ayo she was just trying to help you." Jay stepped in. "Jay stop talking to me I'm done with your ass now leave me the fuck alone I'm done with your bullshit." I bump into her and walk off to class and put my head down for a nap.
