Chapter Three

And Justin Bieber is straight!”  I whisper yell as quietly as I can.

“No, I want you to listen, I am a Fallen Angel. Okay, and so is Alicki, but he is on the dark side. I want you to know, I am not on the dark side okay? I am not going to hurt you.” He said half of that slowly, like I was 3 and needed help understanding it.

“You can quite talking to me like I’m 3, okay? I understand that you think you are a fallen angel, but that comes with, schizophrenia I think you really should go to my last doctor, he was great, oh, and he gave me cherry lollipops, even though I am 17-”

Ezra cuts me off, “You truly don’t believe me do you?”

“Why hell should I?” I challenge him.

“Well, you do know Alicki has black wings?” He asks me.

“Um, that is part of the hallucinations.” I tell him. I don’t belive I’m crazy, and part of me believes him, but I really don’t want to. If I do, that means my hunches were right.

Ezra huffs in frustration, “You don’t believe me, I’ll prove it, meet me after school, in the woods. Okay?”

“Um, sorry, my mom told me not to go somewhere with strangers,” I tell him with the best excuse I can come up with.

I hear the bell ring, and practically jump up out of my seat. I don’t want to know the truth! I would prefer if this new guy would keep his distance like Alicki has all these years.

I grab my back pack, and am about to head out, when I feel a surge of electricity flow through my hand. I turn to see Ezra holding my hand, giving me these eyes that tell me I have to know the truth.

I pull my hand, and fast walk out of the room, and walk straight into Theo. I run into him, and my face almost, key word almost, runs straight into his chest.

But he grabs my waist and steadies me.

“Woah,” he studies my face, “You look like you have just seen a ghost,”

“You don’t even know,” I mutter mutter to him. I walk away from him, and start down the hall way, ignoring the stares.

“Class is this way” I hear Theo yell.

I turn and walk past him, but not only Theo, I pass by Ezra. He looks between me and Theo, but I just ignore him and keep on my way.

LATER THAT DAY

I walk into the lunch room in search of Sam. Luckily I only had first period with Ezra. I don’t want to talk to him. ANd that’s finial.

I look around and finally hear my name being called out.

“Skylnn, over here,” I look around to see Sam waving at me, not caring who saw. I laughed and walked over to the table she was sitting with. She wasn’t the only one there. There are 2 guys and another girl. The guy sitting beside Sam was fairly cute. With a strong nose and black eyes, I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a girlfriend.

“Hi,” I say to everyone. The other girl sort of waves at me, while both guys mutter, “Sup”

Sam points to the girl, “This is my home girl Ashley, but we all call her Ash,” Ashley gives me a big smile, and I can tell she is a bit shy.

She then points at the guy that is somewhat cute, “That’s Dustin, him and Ash have been together since freshman year,”

Ashley gives a HUGE smile at that.
