new assignment

Ciel's pov

I was working in my study checking bills and past profit and profit now comparing the two "young master" I look up from my work to see Sebastian "you have a letter and a guest "  "guest?... who?"  "hi Ciel" I look past Sebastian to see Delaney "why are you here we know nothing of the assignment yet "  "I have a few questions so I found your home and went for it "  I raise an eyebrow at her "my father " she stated simply I nod and motion her to sit she sits "well.."  I ask "what are your questions" she sighs "well tell me about yourself " she stated simply it shocked me how blunt she was "um like what " she shrugged I sat for a few minutes "I am the head of the phantomphives " she glared "I knew that " "what's your favlorite color " she asked "why do you ask such stupid questions" her furious side frustrated me "I want to know everything about you" she stated simply it made me angrier "you don't need to know everything about me it's not worth my time sitting and telling you why don't we just read the assignment and get on with it " she nodded  

Delaney's pov

after reading through the assignment I went home to pack a bag "hi daddy " I shout walking through the front door I knew today dad was working on clients making them beautiful again as he would say "hello darling how was your little trip " he came into my room I was packing black and white dresses its all I owned the only colored dress I owned was a pale lilac color its only for very special occasions "father speaking of trips I'm going with master Ciel on an assignment I will be gone only a few days I promise " he nodded "just don't be sharing a room with the boy" he laughed at his joke I hug him "it doesn't matter how long I am gone I always miss your jokes daddy "  "let me see your bag darling " I hand him my bag and he drops something in it I look in "opeum ?" he shrugs "you never know you might drop " I nod "thank you father for everything I love you " I kiss his cheek and walk out the door

I jump to thr roof and begin running along until I hit forest once I did I begin sprinting I reach the maison I put my bag in its spot and sit next to Ciel "master Ciel" I giggle "finally your here I've been waiting for ages " he complained "oh so sorry I live in the city " he just rolled his eyes and we began driving it was silent execpt for the servants in the back cheering about going on holiday Ciel complained a bit here and there but other than that silence I ignored him we made it to the town and finny got out to help an old lady with a baby "finny be careful you don't wanna hurt the kid" I shout watching him pick up the carriage the old lady started mumbling about how there is no baby and blah blah blah I was tired and wanted to get to the castle we keot moving and sebastian and Ciel began talking I closed my eyes and leaned my head back I felt my head being moved the set on a shoulder it was warm and I fell asleep

I was being shoke awake by Ciel "wake up were here" he whispered to me "I'm awake doofus " I sigh sitting up I look over to the maid who had my bag she has silver hair and violet eyes my violet eyes I knew this woman she raised me she is my mother Angela it killed me she bruises and she was shaking trying to carry my small bag "here let me take it " I say quietly taking my bag from her trying not to cry did she even remember me I wonder here we go again depression I walk in to the building quietly behind everyone I look up to see her being whipped without hesitation I walk over and grab the whip before he brings it down on her again "no no I don't think so " he growled "you poodle need to learn your place " I grinned "oh I know my place and it's much higher than yours " I pull the whip out of his hand set it on the ground and pull Angela up "will you show me my room please I am awfully tired " she nodded amd began leading me

"so miss how long have you been working here " she sighed "I had to leave me husband and daughter a year ago he was crazy and she comstantly told me she hated me and didn't want me in her life so I gave her as she wished came here and became a maid " I nodded and growled I never said that I loved her key word though loved she tore my family apart and I will forever hate her "this is your room you share with the maid miss mey rin i hope that's okay " I nod "and wheres the young masters room ?" I ask she pointed to the door right across from mine I nod "would you like me to bring you dinner when it's done " "no thanks I'd like to be left alone for the rest of the night if you don't mind "  she nodded and left

I sat on the smaller bed seeing as I was freakishly short I'm even shorter than Ciel which is just plain sad . I grab my bag pull outnmy pipe and my opeum I open my window and light my match I began smoking numbing the pain being tortured for 7 months my mother leaving her lying to me about why she left it all killed me inside out time to forget forget about all the pain all the suffering I have faced this year remember the good things like being with dad and being happy being jokeful merting Ciel oh that boy so rude but makes me happy I haven't kniwn him long but he does make me smile there was a knock at my door "Delaney are you still awake " it was ciel "wait a few minutes Ciel I just took a bath I am not presentable " I yell I rush to put on a night shirt and wave the smoke out the window I hide my pipe I run to the bathroom "okay come in " I attempt to wash my face my eyes were red and puffy from crying it didn't work so I just walked out "what's wrong withnyour face Delaney " he asked concerned I laugh a bit then start to bust out laughing I don't know if it's the opeum or me being myself "nothing silly you're weird Phantomphive" I sit next to him on my bed "I heard you don't lie " he was serious and I could not hide amymore I began to cry again he slowly put his arm around me hesitated "what is it" he asked softly

I began to explain my story from the begining not leaving out Angela and what she said to me "and through it all the only one who ever made things seem okay was my dad I'm attached to him like glue because of it " I sighed Ciel hugged me this kid actually hugged me "don't turn to drugs to numb the pain come to me from now on and talk about it they don't make it better but at least I can try to now come on when was the last time you ate " he smiled at me this is the soft side of Ciel "I inow this is gonna sound weird but can Sebastian cook up some biscuits they are my favorite " he just shook his head at me but did ask Sebastian after I ate I laid in bed tired I closed my eyes and fell asleep .

~DREAM~

I was back where I was tortured they were whipping me with a belt like they always did  but then someone else join that soft voice I knew too well Ciel "my turn " he said and began full force whipping me after he got bored and began kicking me in the stomach screaming words at me like "WORTHLESS "  "WASTE OF TIME " "USELESS " 

I woke up crying and ran straight to Ciel's room I knocked lightly he opened the door took one look at me and pulled me in we sat on his bed I told him the whole dream through my tears "I would never your not worthless or useless Delaney you are so important to me not just because you're a good fighter but because you are a good friend " he whispered in my ear I eventually fell asleep because when I woke up I was laid back from my sitting position same with Ciel and he was still hugging me I adjusted so I was comfy and went back to bed
