Chapter 3

The officers left the alleyway, without a trace of the girl.

Kou walked back away from the fountain, and stopped by a little café. It was small but had a home feeling to it, the warmth of the chairs which was soft, the aroma of the coffee beans and fresh cooked fruit cakes just being pulled out of the oven. "Hey your the guy I asked for the time earlier aren't you!" The girl from earlier approached him. "Umm, yes." He replies in shock. "You don't look around here. I'm Suzuki Nagisa." She hands him her hand. "I'm Oka..ya..ma Kou.....ta" he didn't want to be recognised so he had to think of a name. "Well Oka..ya..ma Kou.....ta, what would you like to order?" She asks mimicking him. "The ah green tea." He asks skimming the menu. "Sure coming right up."

He looks around the room, everyone laughing and chatting fills he air. Feeling the warmth in the café it is nothing like the palace, which gives you a cold feeling and is way too big. Even the staff in the café have a smile on their faces.

"Here is two green teas." She places them both on the table, and took a seat. "It's my treat, so don't worry about it."....... "so, what brings you here?" She asks taking a sip. "Oh I umm work for the queen and king. I was asked to come down to the village and ask what could be improved." He says with an awkward face. "I wouldn't like anything. Only for everyone to live a happy life in this small village." She says with a smile.

A few hours has past and they are walking down to the fountain. "You seemed a bit of a rush this morning." He says. "Oh yeah, did you see the Pierette!?" She changes the question. "Yes she was amazing everyone was laughing I've never seen this town so happy." He says. "I've never seen you in this town." She says wondering her eyes on him, "you know I'm from the other side." He replies. "Oh ok, I have to leave. hand me your phone." She says handing her hand out, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone and placed it in her hands.

She hands it back to him after a minute. "I added my contacts so if you every want to meet up, call me." She says handing back his phone to him. "Ah yeah sure, thank you." He replies. "I have to go! I'll see you around?!" She says running off waving her hand, as she ran off she dropped something on the floor. "Hey wait you dropped something!" He yells out to her but she was already gone within the crowd. He bent over to pick it up and saw it was a lollipop.
