[Hanayo x Reader]

I am here in my apartment lying in bed waiting for a certain someone's visit. We were planning to have a date at an amusement park but the weather forecast yesterday revealed that there is a hundred percent chance of rain. Rather than risk getting sick we decided to just laze around here in my place.

A doorbell rang interrupting my monologue. As soon as I heard it I ran out of my room and opened the front door. I was greeted by my girlfriend.

"Hello (Y/N)-chan. I brought some snacks for us." she held up a plastic bag filled with snacks. Did I smell rice?

"Okay. Just put it in the kitchen. I'll just change my clothes." I forgot to change due to excitement. We haven't had enough time to be alone together in awhile. Usually she was busy with her idol group. When I do come watch her practice we can't do anything more than a hug since the others were there with us. I headed back to my room to quickly change to a more comfortable outfit. Once I was done I went to the living room to see that Hanayo-chan already prepared a bowl of potato chips and rice balls for us to snack on.

"So what should we do first?" She pats the empty space on her left telling me to sit down.

"I guess we could watch a movie? I heard this new movie called Koe no Katachi and my friend said it was good." I inserted a disc and the said movie has started playing. We just watched in peace, I was eating chips while she just stared at the screen focusing on the story. A scene came up where the female protagonist tried confessed but failed miserably. It reminded me of how Hanayo and I came together, somehow. It was quite surprising. She confessed first despite me being more outgoing and sociable.

"I like you (Y/N)-chan! Please accept my feelings!" she bowed down holding out a box of chocolates. It was Valentines day. More specifically a day after it. Everyone had already given their chocolates but...

"Huh? W-Wait what?! You l-like me?!" I exclaimed in surprise.

"S-So you don't...." her face was on the verge of tears. After all she was extremely shy and my reply seemed like a rejection.

"No! I like you too Hanayo-chan!" I said loudly. She looked at me wide-eye in surprise that the girl she had been admiring from the back seat of the classroom had accepted her confession.

Before I knew it the movie had ended stopping my flashback. My stomach grumbled signaling that we should be eating lunch. I got up and went to the kitchen.

"What would you like Hanayo-chan? I'll cook something for us to eat." she replied back with "Rice of course!"

I chuckled with her extremely obvious reply. She's so cute when she thinks about rice. It's funny how someone can be passionate about her favorite food.

"Well aside from that. It's unhealthy to just eat plain rice. Besides I already cooked some. How about some steak?"

"Sure. I'd love it." she smiled at me. She's changed quite a bit ever since we started dating. Now she was quite calm around me but back then she was always stuttering and turning red that it was so adorable. And she was pretty nervous during our first date.

I rang on the doorbell and waited a bit until my girlfriend came out. She was wearing a white dress with a blue cardigan. And man she looks pretty. Anything looks good on her. It took me awhile to break from my trance. She seemed embarrassed from my staring since I have been looking for a good minute.  I took her hand in a princely manner saying "Shall we go now?" she simply took my hand and I dragged her to a small diner.

We took our orders and sat in at the table in the corner. I was quite worried since she was fidgeting and trying to look away from me. I got quite worried so I grabbed her right hand and looked her in the eye, asking "Are you nervous?"

She stutters as she replied "Y-Yes. What if this doesn't go well? I just...."

I now used both my hands to hold hers. She looked at me in surprise when I just smiled and said "It'll be fine. As long as we are here together."

Our food was now done and we started eating. Occasionally we chatted about random things like "Which is better to eat? Plain rice or Fried Rice?" and  "Have you watched the new episode of Manly Idols?"

Soon we were done eating. I just left all the dishes in the sink and we headed to my room. This is how it pretty much goes. We do things and then we sleep and cuddle. She knows that I love naps so she's fine with it. I lied my bed and she does too. I gave her a kiss on the lips and she kisses back. We parted and I started to fall asleep.

"It's cold (Y/N)-chan. " said Hanayo laying her head on my shoulder. I put my arm over her shoulder and pulled her closer. Today was Christmas Eve and we were at the park sitting on a bench.

"Is it now?" she shakes her head telling me she isn't cold anymore. We just sat there in peace, when I had an idea.

"You know, I can make you warmer." she looks at me with a look that says 'How?' I inched my face close to hers and our lips collided. She was quite surprised but after a while she closed her eyes and started kissing back.

I woke up realizing I just dreamt of our first kiss. I smiled at remembering that moment. I slowly sat up to avoid waking up my companion. I looked at the nearby clock to see that it was tine for dinner. I need to wake her up but she was sleeping so peacefully that I couldn't. That dream reminded me of how many firsts we have had. We've had so many memories and she's still with me to make more. I gave her a peck on the forehead and muttered.

"I can't wait to make more memories with you, my love."

I am not content with this. Why the heck did it take me a week just to think of how to end this story?

Oh and Koe no Katachi. Doesn't have cash to watch it. And I have no friends to watch it with.

I definitely wasn't feeling lazy to write. I just ran out of my motivational milk tea drink to well... motivate me. Sorry it took time.
