As the little kit opened her light blue eyes, HawkPaw laughed at her:
"You sure took a long time to be born, and you surely took a long time to even see us and hear us!"
He teased.
"Now, now, come on CherryKit! Let me show you around camp after the meeting."
She said as she left the nursery, lil' confused CherryKit after her.
The leader yowled: "Every cat old enough to (Enter Sky clan thing that they say please tell me what they say), gather beneath the (idk) for a Clan meeting!" The jet black tom yowled.
Every other cat was full of sadness, CherryKit not knowing why.
"Mom, why are they sad?"
She asked, pure innocence in her blue eyes. (And adorableness)
"Our last leader, SwiftStar, had passed away while you were still in the nursery." She sighed, explaining everything to CherryKit: "Now, EchoWing has left to the Whispering Cave and gained the name EchoStar, receiving his nine lives."
"Nine lives?!" She almost screamed, HazelCry shushing her at the last second with her tail passing against her mouth. "Yes, nine lives." She mewed "Now be quiet." They both stood quiet. "I have received my nine lives at the Whispering Cave, and it is time for me to choose a new deputy, but we'll take a moment to give honor to our last leader, SwiftStar, that had died due to dogs attacking the camp."
As he said that, the camo wen't silent, mourning the lost leader.
"I say these words before Starclan so that our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice."
He sighed "The new deputy of SkyClan shall be... CloudyDust."
Everyone started chanting:
"CloudyDust! CloudyDust! CloudyDust! CloudyDust!"
Even the gingery kit chanted.
