It'd been a month since dad had be arrested by false accusations. Allison had found herself a man. Well a guy. They'd both decided to adopt me. They will never here the words "mum" or "dad" come out of my mouth that's for certain.
"Can you come down here Hazel." Allison called. I found myself walking down the stairs and sitting on the black leather sofa. They were linked arm-in-arm. Her fiancée was at least a foot taller than her. He had a lip ring and a tattoo on his right hand. He looked no older than twenty-four.
"Hazel. We're getting married." Allison said. "What? He's like 10 years younger." I blurted. "Sweetie, I know this is a bit sudden-" I cut her fiancée off, "No. Don't tell me this is a bit sudden Luke. I couldn't careless. But, Jesus she's 30, what are you like 24!?" I spoke.
"Age doesn't matter. Also don't call your new dad by his name." She tutted. "What am I supposed to call him? Step-daddy? Yeah, not gonna happen princess." I spoke before retreating to the stairs.
I looked back, climbing the stairs. Allison's and Luke's eyes were on me. Luke had this glisten in his eyes like he fell in love or something. Ugh. I'd reached the landing and disappeared into my room sitting at my desk. I started looking over my sketch books.
Without realising, Luke had came into my room. He was sat on the edge of my bed, facing me, with his arms folded. I noticed him out of the corner of my eye. I turned to face him, placing my sketch book back on my desk.
"What do you want?" I said, saying 'you' like it was a bad word. "I don't like your attitude young lady." He said sternly. "Do you have a daddy kink or something? No pet names please. Ugh." I sighed. "As a matter of fact I do have a daddy kink.", he said proudly, "But that's not the point. You should at least treat your mother and I with respect." He spoke.
I stood up. "First of all she's not my mother and you're not my dad." I spoke with a tone. "I don't like your tone young lady.", he stood up, "You need to learn how to behave. Did your dad ever teach you how to behave?" He spoke. "Don't bring my dad into this Luke! That's nothing of your concern!" I yelled. "Don't address me by Luke." He said in a tone. I do believe he was about ready to yell. "What shall I call you? Daddy?" I groaned. "Well..." He spoke. "Not fucking happening, pervert." I said.
"Language young lady!" He yelled. "Fuck off Luke." I spoke. I walked out, he was following close behind. I'd reached the bottom of the stairs. I'd neared the door to the dining room, a hand had grabbed my wrists.
Tightly. That's gonna leave a mark. It was none other than Luke of course. He'd pulled me around to face him. Our bodies were just barely touching. Well this is uncomfortable. "Don't. Don't under any circumstances talk back to me." He whispered in my ear so Allison couldn't hear. I'd pulled away from his grip, walked into the dining room and acted like nothing happened.
Great, a male version of Allison.
"We're having Spaghetti Bolognese for tea. Where have you two been all afternoon?" Allison asked. Had it really been that long? "Urm..", I realised Luke was leant against the frame of the door, staring, "I was showing dad some of my sketch books." I lied. "What does he think of them?" Allison asked. "They're wonderful. So much detail. Creepy but good." Luke spoke. He held a black sketch book in his hand and he was looking through it.
I hadn't shown my sketch books to Luke. I had tons of sketch books, never one the same colour. I've had that sketch book for two years, I haven't touched it in two years. I always kept them in the bottom drawer of my desks.. I'd never felt scared In my life. I kill fucking ghosts for a living. Now I'm scared of a fucking guy with a lip ring and a daddy kink!
A/N
This was uncomfortable to write. Hazel's gay, just imagine how uncomfortable it'll be for her, and it being her new dad.
I fucking hate myself.
I expect idea's Sam. You know who you are.
