Hospital
Life is short. At least that is what most people think. But to Hayden life is everything but never it was short. He always thought that life was such a burden but at this moment, life is a pain in the ass.
"Where am I? He asked, expecting the man who he assumed a doctor to answer him.
"Hospital." The man smiled at him, continuing his job.
"This might hurt." He added reassuringly as he pulled out the needle from his wrist. At that point Hayden realised that he's too friendly to be a doctor.
He doesn't really care about it though. He was supposed to be dead. He picked the perfect date, time and destination to die. But in the end he's here.
Hayden's least favourite place. He always think that the place was too weird for him. The place itself was like a maze, he got lost easily. Not to mention the smells of sick people and medicine. It makes him wanna die even more.
"Your fiancee brought you here." The man said, trying to start small conversation with his patient.
"Oh, that's nice." Hayden scoffed, waving his hand dismissively at him.
"I know I'm pathetic, you don't have to rub it on me." He added grimly.
Looking at Hayden's serious expression, the man immediately shut his mouth and left. It has been a rough day for him anyway. Staying here with Hayden won't make it any less worse.
How did he end up here anyway? Hayden thought to himself.
"Hey man, that's kinda rough, don't you think so?" Said a woman who appeared out of nowhere. Hayden immediately notices her slight accent as she speaks. She was leaning against the door frame while her legs crossed.
Her white oversized shirt with a big eyed pug printed on it surprisingly matches the emerald green wall and for the first time in that day, Hayden felt less shittier just looking at it.
"So, I guess you're the fiancee then?" Hayden asked.
The woman shrugged, causing her curly hair bounced gracefully while she chuckled at it. Walking towards him before sitting down at the edge of his bed.
"I mean like, why not?" She said. She winked at him, making sure he's aware of her flirting.
Hayden cringed.
It's not like he hates it, it's just felt weird being flirted at his current state right now.
"Look." Hayden sighed helplessly, scratching his head in disappointment before adding.
"I appreciate that you saved me-"
"Don't mention it. I was more than glad to help." She smiled, patting his right leg.
"That's the problem with people nowadays." Hayden said, throwing his hands in the air, hating humanity.
"What do you mean?"
"You know what I meant. I've been planning for it like- 6 months! Then suddenly, people start-"
"Whoah- whoa, wait. So you were trying to kill yourself earlier." Her words came out more like a statement than a question.
"And guess who ruined it?" Hayden scoffed, rolling his eyes back.
"Well, excuse me for saving you!" She snapped, not aware of her raising tone. She was hurt by Hayden's mocking and childish attitude. Never in her whole life she meet someone so rude and ungrateful like this pale blond creature.
