All I remember before blacking out for a second running from a store owner and I ran into someone. I fell to the floor as he stumbling on his feet.

"Aye watch were your...woah"
  He only eyed at me with curiosity he holding out a hand for me to grab, which I great-fully  took it. He pulled me and scratching his neck embarrassed. It was so cute.

"Sorry dude (Yes dude can mean a girl) I didn't see where I was goin."
"i-its ok... don't worry." I said trying to lighten the mood with a soft smile as I saw his expression showed embarrassment.  
"You sure...?"
"Yes, I'm sure."
"The names ace."
"Names (y/n)
"Nice name kid... hey are you hungry... I know a place we can eat and ditch... as an apology?"
"Sure, i-I wouldn't mind"

I guess he never heard that before by his smile. we walked to a nice looking restaurant, not too expensive yet not too cheap. It was perfect, we sat and talked for what seemed like hours. I learned a little bit about Ace. He pulled me close to him and asked.

"look (y/n)...I think you would be great for my gang...if..."

"i-if what."

"if you can ditch this place and not get caught and meet me at the gangs hang out."

"ok easy.. but what happens when I get there before you."

He paused for a moment before getting up handing me his sweater.

"I added the address in the pocket, they'll know and if not wait till I get there." he said with a smile I put the sweater and nodded.

"by the way, if you want to escape without them noticing i suggest going to the bathroom and leave out through the window," I told him while leaving he nodded and followed and went to the bathroom. We looked at each other once we were free.

"race you there," I said running to the address

"no fair," he said following. we laughed a giggled till we made it to at the place. ace knocked and the smallest member came out

"aye Lil' Arturo" ace said with a chuckle

"aye guys ace is back with a friend?" Lil' Arturo said moving to the side.

ace brought me in the house one arm over me. the gang was just chilling and looking at what Lil arturo meant.

"boys I think I found us a new member, their name is (y/n) and they will be respected like family."

"aye acce how do we know they ain't like the other girl"

"well, snake I just know they ain't...I tested them, trust me...I got a good feelin about them."
