To close for compfort

After a while of sitting in boredom, Grubber, Lil' Arturo, Big Billy and I decided to play cards. We started with Go Fish and ended up playing Black Jack after a while. I think Lil' Arturo was cheating at some points during our game as he kept getting a 10 or an Ace every other round but I couldn't say for sure. After a few more matches Ace walked in with Snake who was caring the pizzas. 

"We're back" Ace spoke glancing at us in almost shocked. "Aye would you look at that the place isnt on fire this time" 

"We can make that happen if you want Ace." Lil Arturo replied in almost sarcastic tone.

"Nah, I dont want that... it was hell to build the shack. I'm not doing that again." He paused as he remembered having to build the shack. "Never mind that, we got food, go eat." He spoke glancing towards Snake who slithered his way to the kitchen area.  Placing the pizzas down, Big Billy, Lil Arturo and Grubber all ran into the kitchen to get food, causing me to chuckle. They seemed like little kids who saw a new toy in the shop I use to sleep by. They where always so exited and edger to talk about the how they where going to ask it for the holidays. I remember feelings so lost as I never had a holiday. I was never surrounded but delicious home made food, or family. It was always, me and the villains' when ever they had a chance to visit back in the day. I was so lost in thought that I didnt notice Ace walked by me and placed his head on my shoulder. Feeling the comfort caused me to get out of my thoughts. 
"Aren't you going to eat?" He spoke pointing to the food, 

"Yea, sorry I just got lost in thought... lets eat."

While eating we all talked about plans for the next day. Grubber wanted to go to the Beach as he heard on a radio it was going to be hot. Lil' Arturo wanted to go to the Museum and get drinks. While Big Billy wanted to sneak into the town fair that was going on and try to play games. Snake wanted to stay home while, I didnt mind where we went. Ace pondered for moment before coming up with a set plan. 

"Alright alright, hear me out. We can sleep in, go to the museum 'get drinks', than go to beach near the fair so Grubber can play in the lake. Than as it get closer to night we can go to the fair and try to enjoy ourselves. sound like a plan?" We all nodded it sounded like perfect day, I was curious how they where going to steal drinks and how we were going to sneak into the fair. But I guess ill just have to wait and see. 

After a few more hours passed of hanging out in the living room, it started to get late. Grubber went to sleep in the tub again as he said it was comfortable for him. Big Billy and Lil Arturo went to sleep in their shared room. Ace called it night next and went to his room. As for snake I dont know where he went. He left before everyone else but didnt say he was going to bed. After sitting alone in the living room, I decided to go outside and sit on the stairs. I looked towards the stars as the cold night breeze surrounded me. It was a comforting feeling, a feeling I missed. I began to get lost in thoughts again as I was alone. After half an hour I stood up and decided to go bed, as it was going to be a long day. As I entered the shack and arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me towards them. I was shocked by this motion and kicked their foot. A hiss could heard that let me know that it was Snake. 

"ssss, what wasss that for Y/N" He spoke now holding his foot. I glanced towards him in disbelief. 

"What was that for? You pulled me by the waist and scared me. For all I knew you could have been a creep who snuck in." I paused for a moment "why are you up? I thought you went to bed early?" 

"Same could sssaid for you, but here you are as well" He replied in a sarcastic tone, which caused me to roll my eyes.

"well I'm off to be-" before I finish my sentence walking towards my room I was pinned to the wall. Snake glanced at me placing a finger under my chin making a shiver go up my spine. "W-what are you doing" was all I could say, as my cheeks began to heat up.

"What to you see in Acccce huh? He's a lair, a cheat... he cant even make you flustered like I'm making you now." Snake whispered into my ear

"He's not a lair or a cheat... is he?" 

"Oh but he is... there'sss only a matter of time before I prove it to you as well, and than maybe... jussst maybe I can have your around my arms and make you feel worth sssomething." He unpinned me and began to walk towards his room. Before he entered his room he glanced towards me,  "Sssssleeep well, Y/N" was all he could say before he went to bed. 

After a few moments I regained my posture and went to my room. Plopping face first on my bed (if you have glasses than you take them off before plopping). All that I could think about was, Is snake right? If Ace and I were to date.. would he cheat? Has he lied about anything so far?  As these thoughts floated endlessly around my head I began to get sleepy and ended up fell asleep. Lets just hope snake doesn't do anything to make his point seem true.

Hey, would you look at that its an update. I would like to thank everyone whos stuck around so far. I know this book hasn't been updated in a while and I want to apologies for that. I lost some of the edited versions of older chapters and lost motivation to write. But while I am listening to the Omori soundtrack some random motivation hit...So I hoped you enjoyed the chapter, until the next one. :) cheers
