When I wake up and open my eyes I am surprised to see Oscar in front of me with his arms around me. I make him let go and stand up looking around but Zane was gone. "Zane?!" I yell but no response. "Zane!" I said but still no response. Before I could turn around my eyes were covered and my heart raced. "Hello dear." I heard Zane's smooth calming voice and I calmed down. He let go and turned me around. "Your crying!" He said and put his hands on my cheeks wiping my tears away with his thumb. "I thought you left." I said quietly and he chuckles. "Never." He said and I smiled wide. "Zane!" I yell and jump at him. He holds me tight and I just wipe my own own tears away. I hear rustling and see Oscar awake. I whisper to Zane. "He was holding me while I was asleep." I said and his face turned to a angry face. "He did what?!" He yelled making Oscar jump.
"I-It was getting colder and I didn't mean to actually hug her!" He said and Zane just pulls me closer. "Don't touch her again." He said glaring at Oscar. I blush and hide my face. "Your both idiots." I said. We started packing our stuff and feed the horses. Let them drink water and headed off with a trot. I ride with Zane by my side and Oscar ahead of us. When we forgot to eat yourself we stop by a lovely field and get off our horses. We eat what we have but when I look around I couldn't see Oscar. "Hey where did he go?" I asked.
Some leaves fell from the trees and when I look up there was a very young girl there and next to her was Oscar. He tried struggling and the girl just laughed. "Why are you people here? Humans can't come here unless... You guys need to come with me." She said jumping down. I take my sword out and point it at her. "Whoa now, I am Leafena one of the elf-lings. I need to take you to my king. He will tell you what you need to know and what your looking for." She said and it perked my interest. She unties Oscar and he jumps down standing behind us. "We'll go." I said and put my sword away. "Well its a secret entrance so keep up!" She said and started to running. We chase after her into a group do trees and then next thing we know a glowing light surrounds us. When it disappears I see the most beautiful place ever! Homes made out of trees and widows made out of vibrant beautiful stained glass.
"Wow." Was the only thing I could say before Zane grabbed my hand and we were running again. I see the girl ahead of us running to the biggest tree but then she disappeared. We walked into the most grandest room ever! "Who are these outsiders?" Someone asked and when I turn I see an old man with his wife. I bow down seeing as that they are the king and queen. "Your leadership, we've come from the human world." I said and heard the man chuckle. "Servants prepare a meal and let celebrate! The dragon riders are here!" He said and we stood up. The lady next to him just glared at me and I looked at Zane. He held my hand and I smiled and hugged him. "Leafena! Daughter, go get these people their own tree to live in." He said and Leafena jumped down startling me. "Let's get going!" She said not running this time. "Hey Rose, do you really trust these people?" Oscar asked me and I shrugged.
"Here it is!" She yells and when we enter we look around in amazement. "Wow!" Zane says pulling my hand up some stairs. "We get our own room together!" He said and we opened a door that was so big and pretty. "We better leave our stuff and go get our horses." Oscar suggested. "Yea!" I run down the stairs and off the tree only to be stopped by an old lady. "The dragon rider." She said and Zane and Oscar stood next to me. "Who are you?" Zane asked holding me tight. "I am but a simple witch and here to give you some stuff. I've brought your horses and now the girl must come with me." She snapped her fingers and I look confused but when we turn around there was a house behind us. "What the?" I said and she laughs and walks in. "Come, come." She said and I stepped in. She looks for something and when she finds it she finds a key. She puts it in a secret key hole and that wall disappears. There was a room full of weapons.
'Choose wisely.' I heard the voice again. I go through the selection of swords and see one with lapiz jewels coming down the middle. "Wow." I said and lifted it up. A dumby appeared and I get startled and swung my sword but it didn't hit. But the dumb was still sliced. "That is Aries, the dragon of air and your friends got Rampage and Aquinas. Fire and water dragon swords." She explains and I stare at it in amazement. "Get going!" She said and we leave her house, when we turn around its gone.
