He looked at me for a very long time

A look like he wants me back

He looked at me as if he wants to talk to me

I can see the sadness and pain in his eyes

He looked at me with regret

Then, looked at me for one last time

I caught his gaze

Said 'I miss you' through my eyes

The sullen past we had

A future together we will never have

Closure was never done

Given a chance tonight but, we never did

I looked at him turning his back

Now he's gone, out of my vision

I said a silent goodbye

and a tear fell down

Then again, he turned and looked at me

But this time, I was the one who turned back
