Galina awoke confused. Her head was on something that wasn't her pillow. "Good morning Ai." She raised an eyebrow at the nickname as Genji ran his fingers through her hair. Galina had been laying on him she must have moved in her sleep. She rested her head back on his chest drawing patterns on his bare skin. "My mom is happy that her favorite son is with her favorite fighter." She hummed in response her eyes still adjusting to the early morning light. The air was certainly colder now that winter was approaching. "Tell me about your home again." She sighed rolling her eyes at him playfully. He would never tire of hearing about her hometown. Though Genji had never been outside of Hanamura.
"We had this one festival that celebrates the autumn as a sign of change. There are some many colors that make the golden sand look bland. Beautiful scarlet reds to bold yellows and oranges. You would have loved it." Galina said missing the warmth of Syria. Genji nodded.
"Do you think we'll have a home like that?" He asked staring down at her chocolate brown eyes filled with happiness. Galina thought for a moment.
"You are my home where ever you are is good enough for me. Though a little sunshine never hurt anyone." He laughed flicking her head getting a smack in the arm in return. "Where ever you go take me with you." She commanded quietly before stretching and leaving Genji's side. She had training today before the next few days were cluttered with the activities of the games. She had gotten her training garments on though she looked foreword to her Legionnaire clothes and armor that would be stunning. Genji grabbed her wrist grinning playfully.
"Do I not get a goodbye kiss?" She smiled kissing him softly as a tease quickly leaving to get away with it. Galina sighed as she slowed down. Three weeks had past and they had gotten closer than ever. It gave Taisia a reason to tease Galina now. Yet she had never felt more alive now that she had Genji.
