Chapter 8

Phil had a crush on Dan Howell, and he was sure the entire school knew it.

One of Dan's blabbermouth popular friends had started a rumour about them both dating, one to which Dan rolled his eyes and Phil blushed darkly to.

"We're not dating, Jack, I don't even like Phil that way," Dan had spat, leaving Phil's heart to break. He was sure it was audible to anyone and everyone within a mile's radius. "We're just friends. Besides, you know I have a girlfriend, right? Elizabeth?"

Phil was sure that if his heart wasn't fully destroyed before, it was then.

Quietly and politely, he excused himself to go use the restroom. There, he allowed himself to cry quietly, painful hiccups leaving his lungs.

Followed be a series of coughs.

And then by multiple flower petals.
