Chapter 5

You were looking for the artifact and you kept getting more and more Grimm on your tail. Your tried dodging them but they kept coming. You weren't trying to waste any time so you could beat Yang. But you eventually got annoyed and decided to deal with all of them at one time.

Y/N: Alright you guys asked for it!

You transformed your gauntlets so they were in their other form. You triggered your cripson and picked up speed. By the time you were at least 100 yards away you turned around. This time you were going faster. You decided to use dust so you could use fire in your attack. You were so fast that the Grimm couldn't even detect your location. You then moved in a spiral like motion. You let went through every single last one of them decapitating every single them all in one hit. You then turned around again in order to keep looking for the artifact.

Y/N: Geez! These Grimm just don't know when to quit!

You kept looking and looking. You ran into other students. You ran into Jaune. He was in trouble but you let Pyrrha deal with him. You would have helped but Pyrrha was really strong based on what you had heard. Eventually, you found the artifact. You came to the grounds and there were Chess pieces. You were the first one to get there so were able to get the artifact you wanted.

Y/N: Ha! and Yang thought she'd beat me!

You then heard voices coming from the forest. You then decided to hide. You hid behind the ruins and saw Yang and Blake. They saw that an artifact was missing so they obviously knew someone was there before them.

Yang: So someone was here before us? I wonder who it was.

You then came out from behind the ruins and smiled at Yang. You were showing off the artifact that you picked up as well

Y/N: Sorry Yang. 

Yang: What?!How did you get here before me?!

Y/N: I guess that means I'm stronger than you haha!

Yang: Oh please! You most likely cheated!

Y/N: Shut up Yang! 

Yang: Make me!

She was mocking you and it made you happy but a little pissed off. You gave her an evil smirk, and she was confused. You triggered your Cripson and in less than two seconds you were right in front of Yangs face. You quickly transformed your gauntlets back into their original form. You released a chained blade and wrapped it around Yang. She hadn't processed what you did until after at least 10 seconds. You then pulled her into her arms. She was blushing and her blushing made you blush. You didn't see it coming, but she looked so innocent and helpless and it made your heart pound.

Yang; N-no fair, Y/N. That's cruel.

Y/N: Just call me Red.

Your eyes were locked with hers and both of your faces were burning red. You let Yang out of your chain and pulled it back into the gauntlet. You didn't know what was going on, but it was a moment that you found weird because you didn't want it to end.

Then all three of you heard Grimm's yelling. You were going to see what was up but Yang stopped you.

Y/N: Yang what's wrong?

Yang: Let me handle it.

She was staring at the ground as she had her hand over your chest. You were confused and didn't understand why she was doing that.

Yang: I want you to see how strong am I. So you can see I'm not weak!

You never for a second thought she was weak. But you knew she had her flaws in her fighting.

Y/N: I never thought for a second you were weak dummy! But if you need me I'm here. But don't get the wrong idea dummy!

Yang then smiled at you and made her move. You worried about her. But you had faith in her.

Yang: You have to admit I was pretty amazing.

Y/N: You were okay.

Yang: You suck!

You chuckled at her. She was a piece of work, but you managed.
