Yang x Reader ~ Lost Dragon (Book One)

Chapter 8

It's been a couple of months into the school year and now you are going on missions. Since you don't have a team you have to do missions by yourself. Many considered this a pain, but you thought of it as a way to kick butt and not have anyone in your way. You were going to start the missions tomorrow. You couldn't wait. But you had plans today, Yang invited you to hang out with her and her friends. You declined at first, but in the end, you had no choice. She and her friends were going to hang around town for a while. 

During class that day she couldn't stop staring at you. You only noticed that because you were the one who started staring at her first. One of your classmates even patted you on the back and said someone like you had a chance with the "Yellow Dragon". You gave him a confused look. "Yellow Dragon"? That's what everyone called her? He even told you that everyone called you the "Red Dragon". You guess it made sense. It did kind of match your semblance.

Your semblance was very powerful. After all, it was entrusted to you. You were very powerful, that's one of the reasons finding out who killed your father was important. Something that you kept secret from people was that you were a part of a group called the Clawed Dragons. The Clawed Dragons was a group of 4 people who had semblances of Dragons. Fire, Water, Earth, and Aether. Hundreds of years ago, the four maidens were in search for apprentices so they chose 4 people they deeply trusted and gave them their semblances. 

Just like the maidens, we pass our powers on after we die. But the power goes to whoever killed the previous one. And if they weren't killed it passed on to someone in their bloodline. Your grandfather was the Dragon before you. But your father was also a Dragon. He killed the one before him. They fought in a duel and your father accidentally killed her, you didn't know who she was though.

So you had to find out who killed your father and see if they are worthy of the powers. And if not, you needed to find someone who was. Your father was the Aether Dragon. He was considered the strongest dragon, so you feared that the power was going to be used wrongly.

Professor Ozpin told you he believed someone a part of the White Fang probably took the power. The White Fang did want to take over the world. You never thought of it before, but it was a possible. You might even find some answers while you hang out with Yang today. Besides, you will be able to spend time with her.

(Time Skip to later that day)

Y/N: Damn it Yang!

Yang: Don't be mad at me because you lost to me!

You and team RWBY were hanging out and you and Yang raced to a building. You were too busy fooling around that you fell and Yang beat you.

Y/N: I'll beat you next time Blonde!

As you were arguing with Yang, then you all saw a Faunus getting chased by some guards. At first, you couldn't tell who it was, but you then noticed it was Sun. You saw him around the town lately. You thought he was a student at Beacon. You didn't really care about him getting chased because you've seen his abilities. But everyone else wanted to chase him. Ugh! It was so unnecessary.
