My Abusive Lover

Chapter One

Chapter One:
Nancy's P.O.V
       "Victor, please stop!! You're hurting me!!" I pleaded him, but as usual he didn't listen. Wack! Another blow to the head sent me straight for the floor. I had the metallic taste of blood in the back of my mouth. When he saw that i wasn't getting up off the floor anytime soon, a smirk of satisfaction spread across his face as he walked away, leaving me on the floor. A tear slipped from my eye. Why does he do this to me? I thought to myself. I let another tear fall from my eye, then everything went black.
        I woke up, still on the floor with a pounding headache. I looked up at the clock on the microwave in the kitchen. It read 12:00a.m. I was to afraid to go to bed, worried I would wake Victor up and make him mad. I decided to sleep on the couch, for my own safety. It took a while for me to go to sleep, fear that he would come out here and hurt me again, but eventually, fatigue won over and I drifted off to sleep.
      The next morning i woke up to the smell of fresh made coffee and homemade pancakes, so I went to the kitchen to find Victor at the stove flipping pancakes.
"Babe! I'm so so sorry about last night. I had a hard day at work and i took it out on you and that was wrong. Please, will you forgive me?" he looked at me with pleading eyes, the eyes that were so blue and so deep that you just want to dive right in. I strolled up to him and wrapped my arms around his waist.
"Of course I will." I told him which brought a smile to his face. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me like it was the last time he was ever going to hug me.
"Don't worry, that won't ever happen again." he assured me. I knew it wasn't going to be the last time. I just love him to much to ever let him go. No matter what his flaws are, I'm still gonna love him because everyone has flaws, but they are still human.
