Chapter 5

~A few weeks later~

 “Guyyyyys, pleeeease can we go visit Hayley and Katie?” I whine, having not seen my best friends for three weeks.

“It’s only fair, really.” Jinxx points out to Ashley, CC and Jake. They all murmur what sounds like ‘that’s true’. I grin widely.

“YAY!” I jump up and down, clapping my hands like a little girl.

“Someone’s been on a bit too much ecstacy.” Andy walks in from the bunks. He stops behind me and kisses my hair.

“Oh, piss off, Andrew. You know I’m not on fucking drugs.” I laugh, elbowing him in the stomach. He winces in pain and acts like I stabbed him or something. “Oh grow up.” I say before heading to the fridge and pulling out a can of Pepsi. My phone begins to play ‘Death of Me’ by Asking Alexandria. I don’t hesitate to answer it.

“Hey Kaitlyn, how’s it going?” The voice comes through the speaker.

“Hayley! Everything’s perfect here. How about back home?” I ask, smiling although Hayley can’t see my face through the phone.

“Amazing! Do you have any idea of when you’ll be coming back, though?”

“Um, well, we’re actually stopping by to see you guys today!” I laugh.

“NO WAY! Ahhh, Katie! Kaitlyn and the guys are coming today!” Hayley shouts to Katie, who just screams in reply.

“I can’t wait to see you two either.” I admit.

“Who’s on the phone, baby?” Andy asks me, resting his chin on my shoulder.

“Hayley and Katie.” I tell him. He just smiles and hugs me from behind. The girls must’ve heard this and gasp on the other end of the line.

“Kaitlyn?” Hayley asks, rather seriously.

“Yeah?”

“Was that Andy that called you ‘baby’?” Katie asks.

“Uh-huh.” I reply, smirking at Andy. He smiles as he realizes what’s happened. “You’ll understand later.” I tell them.

“Oh, okay... Well, we better go get everything sorted anyway. See ya later!” Hayley says.

“See ya girls!” I reply just before the line goes dead.

“I take it they sorta figured it out?” Andy smirks, kissing my cheek.

“Yeah, I think so.” I laugh and hug him. “I’m gonna go get ready now anyway.”

“Okay sweetheart, I love you.” He gives me a squeeze before joining the guys on the sofa. I go to Andy and I’s wardrobe, pull out my Mötley Crüe t-shirt, a pair of skinny jeans with the knees ripped out and my boots and enter the bathroom. After quickly getting changed, I comb through my hair, tease it a little and put on a bandana. I quickly apply some eyeliner and replace the stud in my lip with a ring before throwing my pjs on my bunk.

“Hey sis, Andy was telling me you wanted to get a tattoo?” CC asks me as I sit on the sofa between him and Jake.

“This is true.” I reply.

“Well, how about we go get you your first tattoo before we go see Katie and Hayley?” He grins.

“Really?” I ask, surprised. He nods. “That’d be amazing!” I smile.

“Let’s go then!” CC grabs my wrist and pulls me off the bus and down the street to the same mall we went to a few weeks ago.

“CC, chill dude.” Jake laughs, pulling him away from me.

“Thanks, Jake.” I laugh with him. He nods in acknowledgement and heads off in the other direction with CC and Jinxx.

“Can I come watch you get your tattoo?” Ashley asks me. I know exactly why he’s asking this but he’s gonna be gutted when he finds out I’m only having it done on my forearm.

“Sure man.” I smile, taking Andy’s hand and starting off to the tattoo shop. Ashley rolls his eyes and follows us. When we arrive, we’re greeted warmly by the attendant. It was the man who pierced my lip.

“Mr. Purdy! Mr. Biersack! Miss. ...?”

“Coma.” I smile.

“Yes, of course, Miss. Coma! What can I do for you today?” He smiles back.

“I’d like to get a tattoo please.” I tell him. He nods.

“First time?” He asks. I nod nervously. “Don’t be scared! Right this way.” He gestures towards a room in the back. The three of us follow him in and I take a seat on the tattooing chair. “What tattoo are you thinking of, Miss. Coma?”

“I’d like this on my forearm, starting near the crease of my elbow, please.” I say, handing him a piece of paper.

“Okay! I’ll go trace a carbon copy of this and then we’ll get right on with it!” The attendant takes the paper out to the front of the shop.

“What are you having done?” Andy asks, raising an eyebrow at me.

“You’ll see.” I giggle, awkwardly turning my lip ring with my tongue. He sighs and takes a seat in another chair across the room. Ashley takes a seat next to him and pulls out his phone.

“Here we go!” The attendant re-enters the room and takes a seat in the chair in front of me. I stretch out my arm in front of me and he places the copy onto my skin. “Is that okay?” He asks after he peels the paper off my skin, leaving a purple outline of the tattoo.

“It’s perfect.” I smile.

“Let’s get cracking then!” He takes the tattoo gun and starts it running, dipping it in some ink. I shut my eyes tight and grit my teeth as he touches my skin with the needles. Wow, this doesn’t hurt at all!

Half an hour later, my first tattoo is finished. It really is a work of art. Andy laughs a little when he sees it. I didn’t think it was too cheesy... Ashley just smiles and heads out of the shop and towards the bus outside. The attendant (whose name I still don’t know) wraps my arm up in cling film and Andy and I follow him to the counter to pay for my first tattoo.

“It looks great.” Andy smirks as we walk out of the store.

“I knew you’d like it.” I giggle and peck his cheek. “I really do love you, Andy.” I tell him.

“I really do love you too, Kaitlyn.” He replies, chuckling. Back on the bus, I show the rest of the guys my tattoo and we have some lunch.

“Now to Hayley and Katie’s!” I grin once we’ve cleared up. Everyone rolls my eyes at me and my smile disappears. I decide to go to my bunk for a while. Why are they all being so bitchy? Do they not like Hayley and Katie? Or is there something I’ve missed?
