There are so many things I want to tell you.

So many emotions I want to express.

But I can't.

I'm too scared

Of rejection,

Of denial,

Of getting hurt again.

I can't tell you the thoughts going through my mind.

I can't tell you how I feel.

I can't show you the affection I want to show.

All because I'm scared.

All because of fear.

All because of the fact that when I look into your eyes my knees turn into jelly and I can't speak, much less confess my feelings.

I can't do it.

And that haunts me.
