Chapter 2 (Colt)

I wake with a start its the same way every morning except that's the first time "she" has ever talked to me. She's really pretty I can give her that but its just a dream so it can't be real... right? School in Grygla MN was canceled today because of snow so I got to sleep in but normally once I wake up from my "dreams" I can't fall asleep again until later at night. So instead of sleeping in I went downstairs to eat breakfast, while I'm down there I see my mom on her iPad.

"Oh g'morning Colt"

"Morning mom"

"Guess what!"

"Hm?"

"We are getting a neighbor"

"Really?"

"Yup and there's a girl your age so I expect you to be nice"

"Will do mum"

"Oh and how's Sadie doing?"

"Um good I have a question though she was wondering if I could take her to the school dance?"

"And?"

"I was wondering if you were ok with that?"

"Absolutely, I mean it's Sadie I couldn't say no" she laughs

"Ok thanks mom" I smile see ya later though she need help with her dress"

"Ok but I want you back by lunch because I invited over our new neighbors"

"Ok see ya"

"Bye love you"

"Love ya too mum"

Than I leave to go meet my girlfriend Sadie and help her pick out a dress for Friday's dance. When I get to the only dress store in town Sadie drags me in and we try to find her a dress that she will like. she decides on a turquoise one with a white bow around the waist and is above the knee, it's very pretty and she looks beautiful. After we find her dress we go to find my matching tie we find a turquoise one with white stripes. After that we go to her house and hang out I almost forgot about lunch when I tell her I have to go she gets a little but she'll see me tonight so she'll be find I just hope this lunch is worth my time.

Once I'm home I go freshen up and come downstairs, my mom asks me to set the table so I do as I'm ordered then I hear the doorbell ring.

"I got it!" I yell to my mom

When I open the door I'm face to face with the girl from my dreams we both look shocked to see each other and her mother looks slightly confused.

"Um hey my names Colt" I tell her

"Hi I'm Ashlin nice to meet you and this is my mom"

"Hello mam come on in foods almost ready"

Well this is defiantly unexpected I mean just this morning I was convincing myself she wasn't real and here she is and I can tell she recognizes me...
