Chapter 9 (Ashlin)

He's mad serves him right he's the one that made me mad completely ignoring me all day and letting his girlfriend bet me up until James, not Colt came and helped me at least James cares.

When I get home I shower then I see a car in my driveway then I scream.

"OMIGOD"

"Hey" James says shyly

"Please get out I'll be right there" 

"Oh yeah sorry leaving" His blush lights up his whole face its kind of cute. I change into my Silver jeans and slip on my Generator Rex T-shirt then leave. 

Turns out James left the whole house and waited outside for me I looks sightly nervous, he seemed really bold yesterday maybe its because he walked in on me.

"Nice shirt"  He laughts "I watch that with my brother" He winks

"Hey don't be hating"

"oh I'm not I was to scared to admit I like it" That makes me giggle.

When we get to the school we park next to a white van then Colt parks next to us. Oh man I think to myself this is about to get intersting. 

"Come on Ash what are you wating for"

"her to leave"  I point at Sadie

"so why'd she beat you yesterday anyways.."

"yeah um Colt and I are neighbors and he offered to give me a ride to school yesterday and she got mad and you know the rest..."

"yeah well um there not leaving and "he" is staring at you so lets go"

"uh ok"

We leave the car and walk to the school Colt and Sadie just at our heels until Sadie steps on my heel and I start to fall I close my eyes waiting for the pain of face planting into the concrete floor but I don't when I open my eyes I'm face to face with James.

"Hey" he smiles

"Hey" I giggle, then he starts to lean in like he's going to kiss me until I hear Colt "cough".

"What problem bro?"James asked

"no..." he mutters

"good" Then James gives me a quick peck on the lips grabs my hand and leads me away. Once we reach my locker we un-entertwine our fingers and I grab my books and head for home room. As i'm walking I think about the kiss It wasn't like OMG but it was a kiss after all.

When I walk into homeroom and I see Colt sitting alone then I see James sitting next to Sadie practically sucking her face off. I didn't even notice but my books fall and I run to the closest bathroom. Once i'm inside I lock the door and cry. Then I hear nocking.

"Go away James" I choke out before I start another fit of sobs.

"I'm not James please let me in" It was Colt "I'm going throught the same thing you are please let me in"

I open the door to see a tear streaked Colt I hug him and we both cry together in the girls bathroom.
